Wow. Wow. What an ending to this duet. I love to read Aleatha Romig books, and this was no different. This was the second book in this duet. This is the story of Damien Sinclair and Gabriella Crystal. Damien and Gabriella have been working together again with a project that Donovan Sherman's wife Julia initiated, and Damien suggested that Gabriella aka Ella be over and facilitate. As they are all in Wisconsin having a meeting of the different pharmaceutical company CEO's, Damien gets word that his father has had a heart attack, and he has to get to Florida right away. Ella is there with him, so she decides to go with him to give her support because she knows deep down that she loves Damien. So, they are there in Florida when this picks up and we are reminded that Darius and Amber have sprung the surprise that they are married, and this is where we start the second book at. Damien's father is in surgery, and we find out that he had got upset from a second phone call from his son Darius who wants to try to take over as CEO again, but Damien is not relinquishing his job that easy. Darius and Amber have come back when they get there to let everyone know that they are married and because Ella is with him, she surprises everyone when she lets Amber know that her and Damien are married. This book is a good example of an Aleatha Romig book that when you think you know how the book is going to go and something else and then something else again happens. I love Aleatha's books and I can't wait to read Damien's sister's story Dani and her bodyguard Eli.

The second book in this duet of Damien and Ella's story took us on more loops than a roller coaster as they worked together to secure Damien's position as CEO from his scheming brother and ex-girlfriend. Amber was more devious than they gave her credit for and she is a villainous match for Darius. The lengths these two will go to to get what they want is unbelievable! We get Aleatha'd with her signature "out of left field" twists she is so famous for! How does she do that?

Ella and Damien are rekindling their love and with it comes the strength and power to withstand all that comes their way! These two are HOT! And Ella is not lost but definitely holding her own and shining like the light she is! These two are PERFECT and I loved the ending of this Duet! Dani was such a sweetheart and I can't wait for her story next!

There’s new beginnings and revenge and healing and rekindling. Oh, and inappropriate is a private joke between these two. It’s an amazing ending and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did. I binged this series because I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. Lots of spice and steam, too. Kudos to Aleatha for writing such a great series.

One of the best things about reading an Aleatha Romig duet is, she always brings you back to where you left off. It’s like …. we are just there again, with everyone! Her characters are so strong that you don’t forget one thing about them and you are ready to go the minute you start reading.

Ella stepped up at the last moment in book one, no one was going to take away what her Damien had worked so hard for. Not his brother Darius and an even bigger no to Amy, apparently they are married.

It’s during the wait on news of Damien’s fathers surgery that Ella realizes that she won’t lose herself, she is there to support Damien and to do the best job she can for Sinclair Pharmaceuticals and for Beta Kappa Phi. Corporate espionage, family issues and a hidden lie is about to put Damien in the hot seat which brings to ones mind “who is really behind all the unrest and why are they trying to remove Damien from the board and what else is hiding in the wings to put pressure on Damien and Ella.

As Ella continues to realize that she never should have left Damien, her feelings and need to be near him just makes her a stronger person! Unfortunately there is always a but….and it comes in a form no one suspected.

Rekindling Desire had me glued to my seat….seriously….glued to my seat! It was fast paced, there were events that were shocking and the best thing was I learned that is very possible to have a possessive cinnamon roll DOM who worships the ground you walk on!

I don’t know if Dr. Dani is going to get a story, but there is something with this lady who kicks a$$ with the best of them and I would love to see her get her HEA.

The second part of this duet. The hatred between brothers continues and lies and deceit abound. Marriage might be the answer but you can only have one legal partner at a time. Amber is a disputable as ever and Darius really is a waste of egotistical space, but Damien and Elle flourish and go from strength to strength. The plot continues where it finished with the prologue a short recap. The romance is sizzling, and the hatred, almost artic, but the drama persists. It is often said have you been Aleatha’d and you certainly are in this well written, free flowing duet. Hopefully a spin of will follow. Love the sibling loyalty too. Dani does good, and Duchesse is one pampered kitty.
