Abloom (Castle Omega Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 524 ratings

An omega’s guide to thriving against all odds.

First, if you get kidnapped, then talk like you are the one committing a crime. Bad guys hate that stuff. If said kidnapper makes a bargain with you that you can’t refuse, then make some demands of your own—like snacks, all of the snacks. After all, the heat is right around the corner, and there is no controlling that bloom.

Second, if you find yourself right back in the place that caused your worst nightmares, demand weapons, even if you don’t know how to use said weapons, or make a shiv out of an old hairbrush and a chipped piece of porcelain.

Third, there will always be alphas wielding their will. Learn to break them down instead of allowing them to break you down. Turn the tables, and who knows, maybe you will overcome your fears and learn to thrive.

Fourth, and the most important lesson of all, is to acknowledge the mistake of suppressants. Look, a girl’s got to thrive somehow out in the big bad world, I get it, but when that heat hits, it hits like a slick tsunami with knot a warning.

Luckily, I’ve got a pack that’s ready to catch me.

Abloom is the start of the Castle Omega Universe. This book is two of two. Every book thereafter is a standalone. For Content warnings please head to Elle Lincoln (dot) com

Holy omega balls, this is an amazing continuation to the first book, Audrey. The action picks right up and the characters are thrown curve balls after curve balls while they try to unravel the mess of the counsel and stay alive. Lincoln manages to make each character likable, lickable, and give them enough 'screen' time that it doesn't feel like you know know them or they were forgotten by the end of the book. Each character serves a purpose and is not just there for filler. While we don't see a lot of her friends in this book, it makes sense for the story line and we the cameo we do see makes sense to the overall plot. I can't wait to see if Lincoln writes more in this world from Sin's point of view or from any of the other characters we met. An amazing omegaverse read. Fantastic!! I was so excited to read the conclusion of Audrey's story. We finally get the spice of Audrey with her pack and their claiming and the showdown with Sebastian's father and the council. Sebastian, Atlas, Hawk, and Riot are all so yummy and I love how they cared for and respected Audrey by listening to her wants and needs instead of just doing whatever they wanted with her. I really enjoyed the addition of Delta and Gamma designations as well and I'm really looking forward to reading more in the Terra world. Can't wait to see what is going on in those woods!

If book one was fantastic then book two was super fantastic.

This is a must read if you love, hot sexy chemistry between every character and sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.

This series made me laugh, fan myself way too much and I stayed up way to late to finish it.

In closing, I’m so looking forward to reading more books from this author.

I like this one better than the first one. It was more cohesive and flowed well. It also had more action and was very intriguing. My complaints are Sin's plans didn't really happen. The figured out the Delta's involved but none of the other work was actually done. The council wasn't taken care of and the Castle wasn't cleaned up. Maybe there will be something along those lines in future books.

This was a great ending to the duet. Most of the ends were tied up, but a few I think were purposefully left. I am hoping to read more from this world. I love the variety of designations. Such great world building.

This storyline is good. The characters were good, but it left me wanting. Guess i was just hoping for a bit more this second book. I'll definitely check out book 3 when it releases.

Why not designate a book accordingly? Omega Book should be about her only not a gay porn in disguise. Disrespectful to the readers- is how I see it.

    3.5 stars, rounding down

Overall, I really enjoyed reading Abloom. The plot was interesting and I really loved all of the side characters. Why Abloom lost some stars for me, was mainly because of the pacing of the novel and it's ending. The plot's pacing felt inconsistent at times and I really didn't enjoy how abrupt the ending of the story was. There was so much buildup in Audrey and Abloom about how strong and dangerous the antagonist was. So when he was finally defeated, it didn't feel very satisfying. That being said, this series nails everything that I love in omegaverses. The protective mates, the heat, and the connection between the characters after they mate. I recommend the Castle Omega series to anyone who likes Omegaverse, why chose or MMFMM novels. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
