About the Author

Jonathan Brenneman was born in Rochester, New York and raised in Pennsylvania. Although a very troubled child he was at the same time very religious. He read the Bible from cover to cover when he was seven years old, all the while questioning and wondering about the existence of God.

When Jonathan was nine years old, he woke up one morning with bad back pain. His mother prayed for him, and to his surprise, he felt something like a hot ball of energy rolling up and down inside his back, and the pain melted away. It was shocking to say the least, but it convinced him God did exist! He later told his friends, "I know that God is real. I felt his hand on my back."

In spite of this experience, Jonathan still had no peace. He prayed the "sinner's prayer" but with no change until two years later when he had a "born again" experience. It felt like heaven opened and unexplainable joy and peace descended upon him! He was different, and knew it! The things he had felt so guilty about that he tried unsuccessfully to change, were simply gone.

After this time, Jonathan dedicated his life to the Lord as a missionary, going on his first mission trip at age fourteen. As a teenager and young adult he continued to travel and learn languages. Then, in a time of desperation when he was twenty years old, Jonathan went to a Christian conference where the Lord touched and encouraged him. It was the start of a supernatural lifestyle and growing in spiritual gifts, during which time many amazing miracles and healings began to happen.

Jonathan worked in construction, but in between jobs he began to visit churches in the United States and Canada as well as in Latin America and Eastern Europe. Jonathan has encouraged the believers, shared testimonies, and spoken with unbelievers and prayed for them. He's also worked with children and seniors. Jonathan believes it's a wonderful and tremendous privilege to be able to serve the people for whom Jesus gave his life.

Jonathan is now a missionary in Rio de Janeiro Brazil with his wife Elizabeth, and daughter Rebekah. He loves people, enjoys being with them, and rejoices at seeing what the Holy Spirit does in their lives. He likes to minister in the role of teaching, laying hands on the sick, visiting the elderly, and working with children-always loving them so they in turn will learn to love others with the love of God.

In between construction jobs, Jonathan began visiting churches in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. He has preached in four languages and his ministry journeys have included Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Belize, and Brazil. In these places, Jonathan has taught and encouraged believers, shared Christ with unbelievers, and prayed for thousands of people. He’s often worked with children and seniors. Jonathan considers it a tremendous privilege to serve the people Jesus gave his life for.

In spite of great difficulty, Jonathan moved to Brazil in 2012. He spent seven years in Rio de Janeiro and is now a missionary in Goiânia with his wife Elizabeth and two daughters. He is involved in evangelistic outreaches, supporting local rescue missions, caring for the poor, and teaching the church to do the works Jesus did.

    Jonathan has deep levels of understanding which he probably received through revelations. I know this and I am not anointed or a teacher but I have received them too as anyone would if they stay in the Word because the word sows to itself and those with understanding get more and more. I remember Paul prayed for his readers to receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation, because it is good and acceptable also for us to pray for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. I knew that all scripture has layers, multi-layers of understanding which are revealed by revelation as we mature and grow spiritually.
    I am amazed that I was able to receive most of this, because of his anointing as a teacher, I believe I was getting impartations of understanding from him, but I will probably read this again in a few months or a year just to make sure I receive everything because this book is very edifying and full of those nuggets of truth.
    I have never had anyone explain the gospel to me before and explain how wrong thinking can affect our prayers. I am only half way done, but I love this book and highly recommend it to any Christian on any level. I am definitely going to buy his other books. God Bless.

    This is an exciting book with many keys to help equip anyone on a quest to know God, and how His Kingdom operates, more. It's good news! Jonathan opens up many scriptures, bringing exciting revelation. He shares stories of his own experiences, in a very honest way, for the purpose of bringing encouragement and real hope. He also has clearly done the necessary foot-work of research and study. I was particularly blessed one morning as I read from his book over breakfast. Just the evening before, Holy Spirit had been downloading deeper revelation into me of who I really am in His eyes, i.e. my heavenly persona/identity, and how this is a gift that cannot be earned. So I open the book to where I'm up to, Chapter 6 - Dead to the Earthly Man, Resurrected as a Man of Heaven, and wham! The whole chapter is a reinforcement of exactly what I'd experienced the night before. God is SO kind and faithful... we need to walk out our revelations and process them unto manifestation, and He used this book to help me with that. I highly recommend it.

This Book, Present Access to Heaven by Jonathan Brenneman, is so important for the Body of Christ, and even the new age community who are trying to "climb in another way'. Death is not the door to Heaven, Jesus is the door! Some of the things I liked best: Being Heavenly-minded, How to remove the Veils, the fact that we are no longer mere men, and how we need to stop trying to bring Christ down and draw near to Him! We ARE NOW CURRENTLY seated in Heavenly places, and this book can help shed sound doctrinal light on how and why we can have present access to Heaven. Death is not the destination, and we as a Body of Believers have permission and access to go through the veil of Jesus and into the Holy of Holies, come boldly before the throne, and enter His courts with praise.     I have already found myself thinking on the title of this book as I live out my day... I have present access to Heaven.
    Brenneman reveals so many scriptures that I had previously and unknowingly limited their application in my life. Heaven is not a far away place after all. Full of so many scriptures it is almost a reference book... but yet wonderful testimonies and stories. I enjoyed it so much.
