Love a good age gap!
If you love a good age gap romance with a hot single dad and a happily ever after you’ll love this book! This book is set in Australia, written by an Aussie and I hope the author will one day do audio books bc who doesn’t love an Australian accent?? Thomas has had some pain in his past and doesn’t intend to meet sweet little Jennifer, but her heart wins him over & their sparks fly off the page! Fabulous side characters - can’t wait to read about Thomas’ friends🖤

    This book is a quick read book with a few steamy scenes and a lot of sweet and emotional scenes. I have to give this book a Serrano Pepper on the pepper scale, this book has explicit scenes but not to the point that my panties were melting, just enough to warm my blood and get me a little flustered.

    The age gap in this book does play a significant role in this story. I enjoyed this book but felt like it was missing something, the problem is I can't put my finger on what it is. But this is the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 out of 5. I do believe that this is book that a lot of people would enjoy, but there are some things that might touch on triggers. There is loss and grief issues.

    It's an okay read for me personally. I think others may enjoy it a lot more than I did. I wasn't a fan of the leading man in the story personally, and that fact spoiled the story for me. But if you're a fan of Age-Gap Romance stories with quite a bit of heartache, then you might like to read this book.

    WOW! This is the first book I have read by this author and I was blown away. Now, I have to read the whole 'The Gentlemen Series.'

    What a wild rollercoaster ride for Thomas and Jennifer. There is a a age-gap between these two, only to push them closer together.

    The characters in this book seemed strangely two dimensional. The author presented male and female perspectives for both protagonists, but rather than getting a natural feel for them and the supporting characters, we were told how to think about them. That stopped me from enjoying their stories.
    While I get that we’re supposed to suspend belief to some extent for any fictional story, it was a bit too much of an ask for me on this one.
    Won’t bother with this series and as this is my first experience of this author’s writing, won’t trouble myself with looking her up. Save yourself some time and move on 😬

    A different approach to the norm with the younger woman and an age gap. And a couple of nice little twists. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because of the poor quality editing. There were so many words repeated unnecessarily and I think the use of a thesaurus would've made all the difference. There were also quite a lot of stark grammatical errors and poor sentence construction. I would probably consider going for the second book in the series but I did find the errors quite irritating. I think if the author had read the book out loud to herself before the copy was submitted to the publisher, she would've seen how many mistakes there are. However, it was an enjoyable story with a nice HEA.
