Agony (Erebus Assassins Book 2) Kindle Edition
Justice –
They were damned good together.
Until he royally screwed up and lost Fisher for good.
And regrets don’t do shit for him now.
He’d do anything to make it right, but he couldn’t break through the hate.
One thing was clear though, he’d give anything to have Fisher in his arms again.
Only Fisher won’t forgive him.
Fisher –
He’d messed up getting involved with Justice.
That much he was sure of, if not much else.
Now all he can do is weave and bob until shit starts surfacing.
Then Fisher wants retribution.
But Justice can’t be reached.
And that pisses him off...Justice doesn’t get to be mad.

Wow, this series is so good. Justice really went through it in this for Fisher. There is so much that takes place and the author does a great job of keeping you hooked.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2025Justice has been a bit of a mystery, Fisher has been tickling our curiosity for a while now. Solomon is dead, but nothing is ever wrapped up that neat and tidy. Hears starts the clean up.
I wavered between 3 and 4 stars, in the end this story was compelling, fast paced, and Alex bumped it over the edge (that dog has a story)
Here’s the rub, I’ve expressed this opinion before, I feel like as a reader I’m sold short by inconsistencies within a series or even a crossover. We are supposed to be vested in this universe, loyalty keeps us coming back for more…Yet, we also are supposed to conveniently forget previously written details. Justice stops Fisher from killing Ice, the narrative in that exchange clearly states they have a past, and here we start off completely tossing that out the window.
Lastly, Dave’s not getting any younger, what’s the holding them back
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2024The first 2 are well written, interesting and binge -worthy. Some characters are familiar. I really, really liked the ending: heroes:10 and villains: 0. I’m a sucker for happily ever after.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2024Fisher used, abused and suffering from cPTSD couldn't seem to get away from what he was trained to do be an assassin. Justice after serving his country decided that he'd follow his brother and become an assassin, but from the first time he laid eyes on Fisher he became a man he wanted to know intimately. But Fisher was having none of that, yet Justice wasn't deter. He had no problem letting his feelings known and when they got a new boss and he wanted them working in pairs, Justice took this opportunity to spend more time with Fisher by insisting him to be his partner. Fights and time was wearing Fisher down it started with a kiss and ended with a relationship. Great Read!!😘😘

There is angst here, but not the internal head questioning repetition that can get into boredom and frustration for a reader. I really enjoyed readingbthis series ofv2 books.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2025Fisher had a troubling past to deal with and trying to save young boys caught in the same trauma. He could not commit to each other until they were willing to forgive for past mistakes. ???????
- Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2024Just when I think there’s resolution, nope. And when I think things have gone to hades, nope. Then the seesaw starts all over again. It’s a heck of a ride and more than worth the read. I love these guys. Next book please!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2024Fisher has so much trauma to get past, but he is determined to save the boys. Justice wants to love him, but he doesn't know the extent of the trauma. They find their way. Lots of familiar characters and more stories to tell.

3.0 out of 5 stars I usually enjoy reading RK's work but I do not like this series. It' was to dark and gritty for me
Reese you went a little to gritty and the level of abuse and the killing of the innocent was a bit much. Usually when I'm finish reading your work my thoughts is Reese did it again. Please don't continue the rest of this series in this manner.
