An easy to read story that gallops along, taking you with it. Gina buys a dilapidated old house to live in happily-ever-after with her future husband. But unexpected discoveries, some shocking, some fortunate, dramatically alter the trajectory of her life, both romantically and professionally. I would have liked a little more explanation or investigation of some of the discoveries, and the village with its supply of everything including ever-willing builders, plumbers and electricians and gastro pub seems a bit too convenient. But an interesting story that keeps you turning the pages!
