It had me turning pages and on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It has action, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Alex Martinez and Evelyn Garcia. They had been best friends, soul mates. Even though she disappeared he never forgot about her. She has become the assassin Siren. When he comes face to face with her again, he doesn’t want anything to do with her. What will happen when Alex gets a contract to kill Siren? Read this book to find out. Siren is a woman who is strong, independent, and lethal. Alex is a man who loves his job and has those he calls his brothers and friends. Will Alex save Siren or follow orders? The story is fast-paced. Once I started, I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. I got lost in the storyline and in the interactions between the characters. The story is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with Alex and Siren experiencing what they did. Don’t miss out on a thrilling read that will have you hooked from the beginning. Highly recommended.

Alex and Evelyn have a lot of hurt getting in their way and he needs to keep her alive so they can work through their problems. We get glimpses into what happened 15 years ago and there are some shockers. These two characters have a great chemistry and there are some hot steamy moments. We get to see some of the Fortis Team which is always a bonus. This is action packed and keeps you on the edge of you seat. I couldn’t put the book down and read it straight through.

    This was the first book by the author that I have read and I have to say I'm hooked I can't wait to jump into the next book and see where the series goes. I really enjoyed not only the authors build up of the characters but where the story started and how it developed over time. I was hooked from the very beginning and I thought it was great how she wrapped up the story but still left you hooked to see what was going to happen next trying to find out who was the person who was leaking the information. I also thought it was super cool that our female lead character was just as strong as the male lead and instead of having an alpha they were more of a team. I look forward to reading more.

    This book got me hooked on a new series and a new author! A great read and I love how intertwined her other series are (now I have to catch up on Fortis Security and Alliance Agency). I hurried through the rest of the available Eidolon Black Ops books after listening to this one, even though the rest are not on audio yet (a testament to how much I enjoyed them). I loved the action, suspense, intrigue and the love the two shared that never died.

    As a fan of the Fortis series by Maddie Wade, I expected to like this book. I did not however expect to be astounded by it and I really am! An amazing first book in the Eidolon series. Alex is full of action and adventure but oh so much more. Having been separated for many years Alex and Evelyn are brought back together when there is a threat to Evelyn’s life. Alex is determined that nobody will harm her but can he and Evelyn find their happy ever after or are they destined to remain apart? This book has such a unique, fresh feel to it, it’s definitely a series I will be following. An easy 5 stars!
