All This Time (Sweet Sins Series Book 3) Kindle Edition
Miles Wittman, the bassist for the rock band Trained in Black, felt those things until the shift became a hole and dragged him into darkness.
His mind clouded by years of alcohol abuse, the man remembers very little of the last two years of his life.
Until her.
A woman from his past.
Julia Nulty, the band's manager sister, the sexy, exotic plus-sized model.
Bits and pieces of his memory start to surface after the two of them are caught up in an unexpected photo shoot.
She’s rocked his world. He feels the shift. The intoxication.
But Miles, he has no recollection of the night they spent together. If he finds out the truth of what happened, it could possibly lead him back to the darkness.
And Julia, she holds the secret.
A secret that could send Miles back into the dark or straight to his grave.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2018Bravo Kathy Coopmans for the All This Time, book 3 in the Sweet Sins Series, it just keeps getting better and better, and it was PHENOMENAL to begin with. When you read this book ladies, bring some tissues. Ms. Coopmans will take you on a VERY emotional ride with this one.
O!M!G! Miles Wittmann is I think my absolute favorite hero in this series. There in a line in the blurb for this book: “Some people claim to have their hearts ripped out of their chests.” This was a very apt description for this book and Miles and Julia story. When I was reading the beginning of this book, by heart broke in two for Miles. Sorry ladies, not giving any spoilers away. I fully understand the spiral downfall into alcoholism that Miles went into. He wanted to drown the memories away. Unfortunately, he wiped one very big memory away.
Now, after a year long stint in rehab, and counseling that his band mates forced him to go to, he has returned into the fold of his bandmates, their families, and their manager and his sister Julia. Julia is one strong, kick butt woman, with vulnerabilities as well.
Julia watched Miles go through his hell, watched him go through women as well, and died just a little with each one he brought home. You see, she has been in love with him for a long time. Even after the night they made love and he was gone the morning after without a backwards glance. Now, three years later, they meet again, and he does not remember her, let alone their night together. But, WOW the sparks still ignite between them.
This book is my favorite type of romance. A romance that brings ALL the emotions front and center. It made me laugh in places. It totally made me cry in places. It made me so angry that I wanted to throat punch Julia’s mother ALL OF THE TIME (how could she do that to her own child)!!! Then, when Julia told Miles…. Darn, I said no spoilers…. Let me say this, I had a ugly cry there. I was ecstatic to be gifted with an early copy of this book. I am forever thankful.
Thank you, Kathy Coopmans for sharing your PHENOMENAL gift of writing with your readers. I have found out over the last year and a half, that ANY book that I pick up that is written by this wonderfully talented author is going to be a great read.
Thank you for reading my review.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2018Tragedy doesn't have to define you. It shapes who you are, but it's not the end. And living your best life, is the best way to honor those you have lost.
Miles is broken. He hit rock bottom. But now he's back and rebuilding his life. After surviving the death of his girlfriend and child, he turned to drinking to stop the pain. Drinking, women and just wasting this life, until his bandmates had enough and put him in rehab.
Julia is a beautiful person inside and out. Losing her father, left her with a mother that did nothing to help her succeed in life. She was tormented and belittled at every turn. However, as soon as she was able she took off to make a life of her own.
Julia was the light Miles needed. But his memories of her are unclear. He knew they shared chemistry and something life changing, but he can't remember. She's always had feelings for Miles. But she's just not sure if she's willing to risk her heart.
This is Miles' story about taking his life back and realizing that he deserves happiness. Julia is resilient and strong. This is her story as well of rising above her past and finally finding her HEA.
A heart-wrenching story of loss and love. We re-visit with the characters from The Right Direction and Where There's Smoke. I am looking forward to Brock's story.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2018All This Time is the third book in the Sweet Sins series and it’s an amazing tear jerker. It is also a wonderful addition to the series and is Mile’s story.
As we know from the previous two books, Miles has a very complicated history as well as being an addict/alcholic. The band members and management have tried to send him to rehab several times with no luck. Unfortunately, Miles is the only one that can help himself at this point by admitting he has a problem. Which thankfully he has done and we start the book with him coming back to the group after and extensive but successful stint at rehab.
We also have the lovely Julia, who is Maracus’s sister. She’s always been off limits to the band members given their relationship with Marcus, but Miles crossed that line at one time and now the relationship is a mess between the two. Julia remembers but Miles doesn’t. Julia also carries around scar’s from her past with her mother. Scars that no one knows the full extent of except for her best friend Connor.
Julia and Miles are brought back together and the sparks fly but Miles can’t remember her. She’s crushed but moves on. It’s driving Miles crazy with the lose of memory and his best friends fills in some of the missing parts. Miles gets even madder at himself for this.
So while Miles works on a way to get closer to Julia, she retreats and runs. Once she’s back, they are working to fill in the blanks as well as a relationship until a part of the past comes out and Miles again flips out but thankfully doesn’t return to the bottle. Things between the two get even weirder until Julia’s dear old mother lets loose a nasty lie that threatens to bring everyone down (personally the mother gets off easy in the end, but that’s my opinion).
Time continues to move on and Julia comes up with a plan that works and fixes that issues that her mother has caused. We also get a HEA for her and Miles with the added addition of two wonderful little boys. Which is a perfect ending for Miles’s story, thank goodness.
As an ARC reader, I don’t want to give much away and spoil it for others. I can’t stress enough how wonderful this story is but you do need to read the first two books in the series to fully understand Miles and his history.
Thanks for another awesome book Kathy!!! Can’t wait for the next one to come out 🙂
