All for Love - 3 Series Starters: New Zealand Romance Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 607 ratings

Contains the first full-length standalone New Zealand romances from Kris Pearson’s South & Sexy, Heartlands, and Scarlet Bay Series. Once you’ve finished these three heart-and-soul filled novels you’ll find plenty more to enjoy by this superb storyteller.

The Boat Builder’s Bed.
A single mom and a billionaire. A beautiful house that needs her touch, and a beautiful man who needs her love even more. Superyacht tycoon Rafe Severino wants to complete his lonely new mansion with its million-dollar views and return his life to normality. He yearns to marry again and start a better family than the one he came from. He gets more than he bargains for with Sophie Calhoun.

Newly established decorator Sophie seeks to make her mark on the city, but to concentrate on her design studio she has been parted from her adored daughter for the last several years. When Rafe confesses the ugly truth of his upbringing, Sophie sees disaster ahead. A heart-warming story of family, love, loss, dangerous currents, and maybe love regained.

Melting His Heart.
Kate Pleasance needs to flee her home city of Auckland and create a new life away from family stress and infidelity. Might the advertisement seeking a ‘Superwoman’ be her answer? Short-listed, she’s flown to the vibrant alpine resort of Queenstown at her prospective employer’s expense. Snow is dusting the mountain tops as the jet glides in, and she’s shocked to be collected by tall, dark internet billionaire, Matthew McLeod. Where is the woman she spoke with on the phone?

After a disastrous first marriage, Matthew has lived in a freezing void. He’s buried himself in his work to keep the demons at bay, but now there’s a potent new threat tearing at his resolve. Job-seeker Kate is dragging his ruthlessly suppressed emotions back to the surface. Temptation he’s easily shrugged off in the past now eats him alive. Can he persuade her to stay long enough to fan the smoldering sparks between them until they burst into white-hot flames?

Summer Sparks.
Anna Wynn is restless - and construction-boss Jason Jones never turns down a pretty woman. The idyllic beach house they’re trapped in is the perfect place to try for some excitement, but enemies becoming lovers can leave lives in tatters.

Anna has arrived in Scarlet Bay to prepare for her wealthy family’s Christmas vacation. Big tough Jason is right in the way – even in the bed she intended claiming as her own. She vows not to let this infuriating tower of testosterone upset her careful plans, but his rippling body and huge tattoo are hard to ignore.

Jason’s dreams were ruthlessly crushed by his alcoholic father. Now he’s finally become the man he always hoped to be – the strong, focused boss of his own construction company. Uptight, interfering Anna Wynn threatens to turn his life upside down, and soon both their closed-off hearts are under siege. When Anna’s huge secret is revealed, will he be willing to pick up the pieces?

SUMMER SPARKS is sexy, funny and heart-warming, and is intended for mature readers.

Thanks for coming to meet me. I love words, and I use them to make the world a happier place by creating people who are perfect for each other – although maybe they can’t see that to start with.

I began writing at my local radio station in New Zealand and never stopped. TV followed, then horticultural articles (because I'm a keen gardener). After several advertising agencies, I then spent happy years as a retail ad manager. Totally hooked on fabrics, I surprised everyone by going into the curtain installation business with my husband and working for some of the capital city’s top designers. Good for my body, and it freed up my brain to write fiction. I didn't fall off my ladder once through drifting into romantic dreams, but I’ve certainly seen many beautiful homes and met wonderful people, and I may just have stolen glimpses of them for the books. (I didn’t say that, did I?)

I write sexy contemporary romance under my real name and the Merry Summerfield cozy mysteries as Kristie Klewes. These are funny and flirty and absolutely clean. (Well - apart from the bloodstains!)

I’m the author of more than thirty novellas and novels, three of which were finalists in New Zealand’s Clendon Award. Each can be read as a stand-alone, but some make up linked series. I hope you enjoy them all.

My more recent romances are billionaire beach stories about the wealthy Wynn family in Scarlet Bay - Summer Sparks, Summer Secrets, and Summer Spice. And the new Promise books - Promise You Nothing and Promise You Plenty.

Kris es una chispeante autora de romántica contemporánea, pura y simplemente. ¡Bueno, quizá no tan pura!

3 Stand alone reads with HEA. I was one of the million that downloaded THE BOAT BUILDER'S BED back in 2012, I absolutely LOVED it. I didn't know enough at the time to find other books by this author. I had a new Kindle and had not a clue how to write a review or to keep up with an author that I really loved. So, first, the hero is part Cherokee, I liked him already. He was wealthy, building a million dollar house and he needed a decorator. The heroine's husband has died and she has a young daughter to support. She gets the job and the story of these two begins. It is a GREAT read and I loved the hero.

MELTING HIS HEART-I read this one in 2013 under the title HER MAN WITH THE ICEBURG EYES. I LOVED it as well. He is very rich, arrogant, and very alpha. LOVE HIM. His half sister lives with him. She is a very talented artist but is confined to a wheelchair. She has no social skills so she needs an assistant. He hires the heroine to be her assistant. Right off the bat he starts flirting with her and she is outraged that he would flirt with her right in front of his crippled WIFE. This goes on for a while until she discovers it is his SISTER. Then their story begins. It is a great read and I loved it.

TAKEN BY THE SHEIKH- I just finished this one and it was as good as the other two. A young woman is kidnapped by terrorist. He is in the group undercover for the good guys. He knows right away he wants to save her but the other two men are ruthless killers so he will have to find the right moment to get her out of the mess she is in. She is 23, a bit immature as she doesn't even begin to know what a dangerous situation she is in. This story has a lot of adventure and romance as they slowly fall for each other. It has a good surprise for her near the end. A very good read.

To sum up, this is a GREAT set and a wonderful introduction to Kris Pearson's writing. I absolutely love her books, most are set in New Zealand. As to her heroes being jerks (a low star reviewer). I guess it is in the eye of the beholder. I didn't see it that way at all. The sheikh is a bit overbearing but at first he is suppose to be a killing terrorist so I wouldn't expect him to be a gentleman. The other two were just strong male figures in my opinion. I feel bad that the reviewer chose not to read the books because she really missed some good stories then and in the future. She also taught me a good lesson. Don't judge too quick because you may really miss something good. These are three very good read and I definitely HIGHLY recommend them. Now, they are a bit sexy so if that is a problem for you be aware. Course, you too will miss some very good stories.

I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am not kin to this writer. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 9/18/17

After reading this exquisite sampler of Kris Pearson's three different romantic series, I'm afraid I've developed a new requirement in my life: Kiwi-centric romances penned by her.
A spritely writing style which varies with each series. Multi-layered characters cleverly revealed, drawing the reader into their worlds. Lucid writing style exposing site atmosphere, both physical and cultural.
I strongly recommend any story by Pearson, but especially this tasty sampler

I love Kris's writing! I had already read the "Boat Builder's Boat" twice, unusual for me and I recommend it to everyone! "Taken by the Sheik" and how sexy Kris makes it and " Melting His
Heart" which was set in Queenstown & Auckland. The difference between NZ big city and the ski town. There's a beautiful scene of Queenstown being covered in snow. Kris allows you to meet Kate Pleasance & Matthew McLeod & Lottie. Kate wants to leave the big city and leaves for a job in Queenstown. It was a beautiful story and has many twists & turns. I would definitely recommend this book.
I voluntarily read & reviewed honestly an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This romance is charmingly written. I felt invested in the main characters and was anxious to see if they could resolve the differences of their cultures and geographical locations. The author is beautifully descriptive, both in the characters and the locations. It was hard to put down!!
