All the Wrong Pages: MM Small Town Romance Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 563 ratings

High school rivals turned small town enemies, a meddling family, and two stubborn guys who don’t realize they’re in love…

Logan Nichols is a snarky menace.

The man has been a blight on Cooper Ellis’s life ever since high school. Not only did Logan steal Coop’s high school girlfriend, but he’s made it his mission to annoy him. Glitter pranks to his leather shop, swooping in on potential hookups, and showing up at family dinners like he belongs there—he’s nothing but trouble. And Coop can’t seem to avoid the aggravating and stupidly attractive guy.

Cooper Ellis is an overbearing jerk.

Yes, he’s hot. Yes, he’s pretty much been Logan’s main crush since he was in high school. But for some reason, the guy hates his guts, so Logan decided a long while back to just douse everything in kerosene and watch it burn. Not like it matters when the rest of the Ellis family loves him, especially his boss at the bookstore, Grandpa Ellis.

Except when Gramps breaks his leg and needs to take time off, guess who steps in to help out at the shop?

And guess who Logan can’t resist taunting until all that fire turns into an inferno neither of them stand a chance at putting out…

Six couples, six low-angst romances, six reasons to fall in love…
All the Wrong Pages is the fourth book in the multi-author series. Each book is stand-alone, but if you enjoy swoon-worthy romance set in a small town, then stay a while. You’ll fall in love with the men of Collier’s Creek.

All the Wrong Pages is an MM enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine romance featuring light D/s, far too much sass, and an oddball pet gopher...

I had every intention of going to sleep at a reasonable hour, and then I started this book. I couldn't put it down! I was so enamored with Logan and Coop. I love a good idiots-in-love story, and Logan and Coop are both idiots but present in completely different ways. Logan's had a decade's long mission to antagonize Coop for the sole purpose of getting the man's attention without the hope of actually winning him. Coop is completely oblivious the incredibly obvious feelings Logan has for him, even though everyone else in town caught on to Logan's ridiculous flirting techniques ages ago. I really liked how Coop comes to realize Logan's true feelings, as well as his steady realization that there's a lot more to Logan than he ever gave the snarky goofball credit for.

I can always count on this author to write super s3xy and romantic scenes, and we definitely got that in this book. These men had s3xual chemistry for days, and it jumped off the page. Coop is a possessive, dominant dream in Wranglers, and Logan is a beautiful, bratty, and needy ball of sunshine. Yes please!

This whole multi-author series is made up of low angst, small town standalones with some recurring neighborhood characters and cameos from MCs from the other books. Each book is dual 1st person POV.

    The Basics:
💜enemies to lovers (but one is really just an idiot in love who relentlessly antagonizes the man he wants)
    💜grumpy/sunshine
    💜hurt/comfort
💜mild D/s with impact play and dirty talk
    💜bisexual MC

Two men who have spent several years as adversaries come together to help a beloved relative.
What makes this a fun story is Logan's snark and wit, Cooper's slightly grumpy façade and the secondary characters like Penny. Add in the real life problems that both are facing and the scorching chemistry, once the MCs get together, and you have a really enjoyable experience. Loved it!

I enjoyed reDing this story so much. It was like that light frosting between layers of cake. Does nothing but add to the world. Grandpa was fun to read about too. I’m a little shocked the other characters didn’t mKe much of an appearance but that’s probably maybe how they went about creating the series. Fun fun read.

Cooper Ellis a leather worker and part time handyman in Collier Creek. Logan Nichols works with Cooper’s grandfather at Ellis Books and does editing on the side. Sworn enemies since high school these two have always butted heads for years. Logan being a bit of a prankster and Cooper be grumpy, steadfast and reliable. One conversation overheard by the other changes everything. This story is full of gossip, unique characters, family, romance and snark……enjoy.

I found this to be an easy low-angst small-town book. I enjoyed it but, at this stage of my romance reading, I like to see an emotional connection not just in-lust. With Logan and Cooper, there initially was antagonistic albeit attention-seeking behavior by Logan which aggravated Cooper. This was the dynamic for 10 years… then the minute Cooper overhears a conversation, he makes a move. We then see the physical chemistry but we miss the banter, the bridge to getting to know each other as most of that happens off page. I am a fan of this author’s writing but with All the Wrong Pages, I craved something deeper.
3.5* for me but no doubt a 5* for someone looking for a easy read with a bit of D/S.

This was an excellent enemies to lovers story…at least for Cooper is was, as for Logan, it was just the best thing ever after ten years of pining. These two were perfect together and I loved Logan’s playfulness and Copper’s dominant side…it was HOT!!

This one is so good. Her books never disappoint and I loved this one too.

Small town shenanigans and a family with so much love in their hearts spells super sweet love story…with some leather thrown into the mix. 🔥

Spice was a little lower than some other books of hers but was still on point and fit the story.

    Definitely recommend Kat’s books ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I enjoyed the journey of the two Main Characters on their journey to their HEA. It's funny how some people don't pick up on the signs given by another, especially when everyone else does! This is a solid read. Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Difficult beginning for me, enjoyed the latter half of the book
Reviewed in Canada on October 17, 2023
3.5/5 So the beginning of this book just hit me wrong. I got that I was supposed to find Logan’s pranks like playground pigtail pulling, but first of all, he’s nearly thirty not a kid anymore. Second, this isn’t reciprocal pranks, this is one person relentlessly pranking and snarking the other person. And given that the first “prank” we witness is a “Honk if you love d!ck!” banner put up at a bi person’s place of business in a small town…. This felt a lot more like harassment than a simple prank to me. (I’ve read a couple of the other books in this series, and they implied that Collier’s Creek was better than it had been for acceptance but still a small town and not great. This book seems to show more acceptance than that, but I didn’t know that going in.)

The subsequent snark that we witness between them is Logan making a long-running “joke” about Coop, the tradesman, not reading and not knowing technology. (When in fact he does read for fun and uses similar tech in his own business.) Really? We’ve established that these two are not friends. This is therefore not friendly banter, and it just seems like rude, hurtful stereotyping. Logan then crashes a date that Coop is on just because he can.

We know from Logan’s POV that he really likes the way Coop looks when he’s angry. So … as an adult, he’s been spending a decade deliberately, repeatedly upsetting someone he likes because he wants to see the physical reaction. I couldn’t like or empathise with this. I liked Coop. I liked Logan if he wasn’t interacting with Coop. I liked most of the side characters. But I found this rough going.

At the 40% mark, Coop finds out that Logan actually fancies him, and he realises that all this snarking has been either to get his attention or a defense mechanism. At this point, they start spending actual time together. The banter becomes mutual. They start to open up to one another in all sorts of ways—including a refreshingly explicitly consensual exploration of kink. I like how committed Coop is, how Logan feels like everything is better than he ever imagined. The solution for Coop’s shop was hilarious and awesome. I enjoyed how well things went once they’re actually figuring things out together, and the last half of the book went a long way to easing the early discomfort for me, but I would have been more comfortable with different interactions in the beginning.

I received an ARC from GRR. This is my honest review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoying Collier’s Creek
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 4, 2023
Another good addition to the Collier’s Creek multi author series. This time Logan gets his story and his love interest is Cooper, the guy he has been at odds with since school days and has continued to be a right pain in his a** ever since.

I wasn’t sure at the start of the book whether I liked Cooper and his infantile pranks on Logan, who is a quiet, kind, sensible person, who his family all rely on, but when we find out the reason behind his behaviour I can sort of forgive him.

But when Logan overheard Cooper talking to his best friend Penny the “penny” finally drops and when Logan marches over to the book shop, locks the door and pins a startled Cooper against a bookshelf, wow, the book kicks up a notch!

These two make a really good couple and the chemistry is hot. Cooper has hidden talents and a business degree that helped turn Logan’s Gramps bookshop around, I loved Gramps, and when he finds out that Logan’s leatherwork business, a craft which was handed down through his family, is failing he comes up with a brilliant idea to turn Logan’s talent in a new direction and it’s genius.

Collier’s Creek is full of hot men and lovable characters, each with a story to tell, and it’s a series I recommend.
