    I have loved all the Alpha books, but this dragon shifter book is beyond words. It breaks my heart that Gabriel and his dragon are so afraid they will hurt their mate, Tabitha. All ends well as it should and is very satisfying. This book is so worth reading, along with all the other alpha books. I love reading Renee Rose and Lee Savino’s books. They really grab you and won’t let you put them down till you get it finished. You should buy this book, and any others by these great authors, you won’t be sorry!!!

    I pre-ordered this book, but I didn't read it until a little while ago. In this series the wolves are the "good guys" and the dragon was the "bad guy". I should have known that these authors would do a good job of making him the "hero". Tabitha really changed him even though he was an alpha. I think it is a good addition to the series-I should have read it as soon as it hit my Kindle.

    Tabitha's mate, a dragon shifter, kidnaps her. He's convinced he can keep her captive and she'll agree to let him claim her. That doesn't work for headstrong independent Tabitha. The story is their struggle to find common ground. It was good but something about it lacked some of the passion of previous books in the series. Maybe it was his attempts to control his dragon or his insistence that he not finish inside her. Even with those issues, it was good with some fun dragon activity.

    The theme is known... A Shifter, (most of the times) human Mate and a problem why they can't be easily true to each other and a cat and mouse game enfolding with grand clash finale and happy ending.

    But, what these authors manage to do is really writing characters. They are plausible within their world and feel true. They have fears, needs, enjoyments... Hobbys... I can see every single one clearly. That makes every single story worth reading!
