The fear of being experimented on kept Angie from living her life. She wants a mate, something more, but she can't find it hiding in her mother's shadows. One problem after another threatens to break them apart. Hector doesn’t do long term relationships. Love doesn't like him and he doesn't deserve it. His long list of conquests only proves his quick cycle of women. When he imprints with Angie, he’s forced to evaluate feelings he isn’t used to. While he wants Angie’s love, his inner demons remind him people always leave him. When Angie is kidnapped, so many emotions run through him and the fear of losing her, scares him more than he thought possible.

    I've been waiting for awhile to hear Angie's story, as we've been hearing a word her and there. I love that she decided to live her life instead of just existing and running. What's funny is Hector just said he was never going to have a mate. When he smelled her at the hotel, I had to laugh at him. When she was kidnapped she still kept her wits about her. I was so proud of Angie's strength and intelligence. This expands our Moon Coven and Austin Pack. I love this series and can't wait for more.

    This is book 5 in the series. Each of these books can be read as a stand alone but you get more understanding of the characters if you read them in order. This book we finally get to meet Angie, twin sister to Aiden. This book is full of action, some suspense and hot and steamy scenes that will burn the pages. Anyone over 18 that likes a great shifter book this is a must read.

    Angie was born to a she wolf and a human. While her older twin brother is able to shift she can't. A remark by the son of the alpha when they were children, meant to help, terrified her mother. She packed her husband and Angie up and left the pack, hoping to keep her safe. Angie has resented her mother for isolating her and separating her from Aiden.
    At 28 Angie is taking control of her own life. Her brother Aiden is mated and has cubs of his own. She is going to visit and maybe make a home again with her childhood pack. A spring blizzard has her stranded in Denver. The complimentary hotel is run by a pack. The hot big bad wolf she meets in the stair way, she can't get off her mind.
    Hector is the Denver Pack resident player. Abandoned by his junky mother to the pack. He was raised as one of the family and has 4 adopted brothers, but he never got over his feelings of abandonment. He doesn't want a mate. Doesn't even think there is one for him. His wolf that is all he is waiting for. When he met Angie at the hotel, his wolf took notice. When he rescues her from another wolf and inprints with her, he can't believe he has a mate. When he learns her secret and has to bite her to save her only to lose her to Hunters. Once she is safe again he has to come to grips with what was done to her and taking her to her home pack may be the only way to save her.
    Really liked Angie and Hector's story. Fast paced and and steamy. Nice epilogue to wrap up their story.

    Angie is a shifter who can't shift. Her twin has his wolf, but not her. Her parents take her away to protect her from the alpha and his son, how was making some comments about her not having a wolf. Years pass and Angie is on her way back to her brother and their pack. She gets stuck in Colorado because of a storm and has to stay at a hotel. Hector sees Angie at the hotel and knows right away that she is his mate. The two of them were on their way to get a drink when they were hit and lost control of their car. Angie was close to death, so Hector bites her to see if that will bring her wolf out. it does. Angie is then kidnapped and sent to some crazy scientists that inject her with witch blood. She develops crazy strong powers, but her wolf seems to go away. Eventually Angie and Hector make it to her brother and the coven her sister in law is part of helps her control her powers. Her wolf does come back but they don't mention it until the epilogue when she is huge pregnant and in wolf form. Lots of action, sex and romance.

    Omg I have read all of this authors work and this one by far is my favorite. You can't put it down and yes Mckayla it's the truth she out did her self normally it would be a guy that is my favorite character but not now Angie is the 1st female charter to be my favorite this whole series is a must have

    Two lost souls finding each other and in each other they found themselves. Angie was looking for acceptance, a non-shifter wolf. Hector was trying to protect himself, afraid to be abandoned again, never wanting to firm bonds. But then nature takes its course, he imprinted on Angie and made her a wolf. Then again she became a witch and all hell break loose. He then discovers that he cannot live alone without his Angie. And that is love.“Survive today and live a long healthy life with me. It will be enough for me.” That’s his message to Angie.
