    I have enjoyed all of the books in this series and especially liked Anton's story. I am just not a fan of the author's writing style. It's choppy and mashed together at the same time. There is too much internal dialogue and not enough actual dialogue. This series is a solid 3.5. It feels more like Wattpad writing.

    The chemistry between the two of them is enough to incinerate those who come between them, every remark and interaction only adds to the angst. Highly recommended. Great read.

    I won’t lie at first I wasn’t sure I would enjoy Anton’s book but I so did. I loved him and Hannah together. I love how much love everyone has for one another and can’t wait for season 2.

    A short story about a politician finding out he has a daughter that he never knew about and the interior decorator that made everything fall into place. An adviser as well as friend with benefits to the politician gives birth to his baby, she decides not to tell him and to put it up for adoption, she gives her lawyer and the adoption agency extra money to keep it hushed so no one would know about it. After having the baby she finds out that it has a heart murmur but she lets the adoption agency take the baby girl anyway.
    It's Christmas at the politician's family home where his sister is getting married. All goes as planned with the wedding they all start dancing as well as talking. The advisor is there, she's drunk, her and the politician talk on and off then she leaves. He dances with her sister's interior decorator friend a couple of time before the everyone starts to leave. The woman tends to some things before going to her room getting changed to her night before going to the bathroom to wash her face and brushing her teeth she walks out of the bathroom into the body of the politician they look into each other's eyes and they kiss feeling are growing more intense as he draws her even more into him kissing her even deeper while he touches her intimately.
    The politician is in his office when his campaign advisor knocks on his door then comes in telling him that he has a baby then shows him the documents as he tells him that he has a PI checking on the babies whereabouts. Putting the documents into his briefcase the going to his advisor's house he's angry to the point of being enraged. Talking to her she tells him the truth that she didn't want anything getting into the way of his career and she didn't want him to have any scandal stopping his career. He tells her that she was doing it to not have any scandal that would make her look bad and told her she better help him get his daughter back. When he leaves his advisor's house he calls his mother telling her that he needs her help and to call the family lawyer she tells him to meet her at the lawyer's office. They get there and go in the receptionist calls for them to go in with the lawyer, he tells the lawyer and his mother what has happened as soon as he's done his mother puts her hand on his arm talking to him about everything will be okay that they will get his daughter back for him that the woman which has been her friend for years has done wrong and she won't be able to be friends with her still. The lawyer gets off the phone telling them he has the police and DCFS coming, the man tells the lawyer his people has someone looking for the baby. The police and DCFS come the talk to the politician for a couple of hours before they let him and his mother go, walking her to her car he thanks her telling her that he will get ahold of her if he hears anything she get into the car as the driver takes her home the man gets into his vehicle and goes home. After while he hears about finding his daughter a DNA test has to be done and before he can get his daughter he has to have his house checked out by a case worker and go in front a judge, the lawyer sends him a list of things that the case worker set him that they need to get. The politician calls his mother felling her, she tells him that the lawyer has sent her the list already and her and his father will help him get get everything ready. They get everything needed except for a few minor things, the case worker is to come over in soon but the man can't sleep so he starts putting things up where they go and puts the car seat into the back of his vehicle getting it ready. He calls one of his brothers to find out what to put in a diaper bag the brother tells him. The case worker comes telling him everything is in good order that he only needs outlet covers and gates for the stairs both top and bottom also that he will have to get trained in CPR for infants and kids as well as parenting classes. The case worker tell him that she will inform the just that she has signed off on the house then leaves. He walk into the courthouse seeing his whole family there to support him, they do a group hug before his case is called. The judge rewards his temporary custody of hid daughter and in six moths if all goes well he will give him sole custody. The judge tells the daughter's mother that she will set up a trust fund with the man being the overseer of it. He gets his daughter and everyone goes to his house, holding his daughter close everyone comes to take a look at her. He stands with his daughter in his arms at the kitchen doorway looking hat the interior decorator setting out the for and making coffee for everyone he tell he that she doesn't have to that and that she's part of the family. The woman goes over to him looking at the baby, he asks her if she would like to see where she would be working when she does decorates and designs the nursey as well as a playroom/family room, she tells him okay. Going up the starts he shows her all the rooms, they reach his bedroom walking in showing her where the baby is staying, they lock eyes when his sister tells them to come on. Everyone starts to leave before she goes they share a kiss. He goes in front of the cameras giving them his statement. The baby is upstairs asleep when The interior decorator comes as his mother's leaving the mother tells her that he's on the phone the door is open and the baby is sleeping, she walks in the door knocks on the office door poking her head in the goes upstairs to start working. When she starts to work the baby cries thinking that the man would come get her she waits but when he doesn't come she goes to the baby she changes her and dresses her noticing that the baby monitor is still on the changing table she takes it and the baby down stairs getting her a bottle the going to the office to drop off the monitor and grabbing the baby mat and her stuff toy she goes upstairs with her to the nursery. After the baby finishes her bottle she puts her down on the mat with her toy. The man is getting upset with his campaign advisor but when the woman come in putting the monitor down he doesn't know why but he thinks that she did that to say he wasn't a good father, hanging up of the campaign advisor her goes upstairs once in the nursery he starts screaming at the woman about think he's not a good father and everything, the baby starts crying grabbing the baby to calm her down the woman tells him that she doesn't think that she was just taking him the monitor nothing else. The woman's upset, handing him the baby she leaves. Once she's gone he know what he did was wrong that he was mad at the campaign advisor for everything he was wanting to do to take him away from his little daughter. He gets a phone call from his sister telling him that she just got a call from her friend she says that she didn't sound good and starts asking what's going on, he tell her that he will find out and he will talk to her soon. Texting the woman he apologizes to her, she tells him that he was right that his daughter is not her concern that the decorating the rooms is what she's getting paid for telling him she's getting some supplies and will be over later, then she stops texting. The man gets his daughter ready for bed and puts her in her crib taking the monitor, he goes to the door opening it for her they go upstairs to the nursey still apologizing to her but she won't listen. Going he calls his mom telling her about his problem, she tells him to take care of it that she is a very close friend of the families she tells him she loves him before hanging up. Walking up the stairs to the nursey he tries to get her attention but she has head set in her ears, she goes to touch her to get her attention but she's startled falling off the ladder he catches her but when she falls the paint she's using lands on him and some on her, he carries her to the bathroom their eyes lock kissing they both their hands up and down each other's body, kissing the make love.
    Two months before the six months is up before the court date the politian and the decorator get married and will be renewing their vows in the fall in front of family and friends. He gets sole custody of his daughter and the mother signed her rights over so that his wife could adopt his daughter, the mother also got the trust fund started and he is the overseer of it. Home to find out all that was involved with the babies adoption was put in jail. The man and the woman found the other part of themselves in each other.
    Superb characters the shot story has everything drama, suspense, thrills and steamy romance it's also a page turner that easy to read. A sensationally written Happily Ever After Short Story.

    i was surprised at how this can be easily read as a standalone. In a short period I had a good sense of the characters and the plot while brief was good.

    Love the Galante family series! This may be the best yet, with the youngest Galante, Anton, following his political aspirations, guided by an older trusted family friend... In politics and in her bed. Somewhat predictable in that when the Cougar, Eleanor, makes decisions for Anton without his knowledge or consent, resulting in a secret baby, readers know she will be wholeheartedly welcomed by the Galantes once her existence is discovered. Beautifully written. A rewarding read.
