    Wow…so first book from Nina and it was great.

    Ashton, the alpha, rich, hot, infuriating, know it all, we come to love has met his match. He thinks he has it all in life but is so wrong. Ashton is use to getting everything he wants so he is taken back when he approaches a business owner and is shut down immediately. He is intrigued.

    Lorelei is just trying to make it day by day. Her grandmother left her a building and Lorelei is making the best of it. So she is not impressed when The Ashton Scott walks in bossing her around. But, she can’t deny he is nice to look at.

    So, overall I really enjoyed this story. Loved the banter and the chemistry between the two. The miscommunications got to be a bit ugh…pet peeve…but I love how it all came together. I look forward to Jack.

    Ashton Scott is the typical a$$y billionaire. All the women want him, more for his money than him personally, and he hooks up with as many as he can. He tends to be a big grump most of the time and is driven to make his next real estate deal. Lorelei has a property Ashton wants, but she will not be intimidated by him. I love how she stands up to him and puts him in his place.

    There are great support characters. I love Jessica, Ashton's assistant. She is another feisty female who stands her ground when Ashton is in one of his grumpy moods. Sienna, Lorelei's friend and partner, is a supportive character. Both of these characters give us good insight into the main characters. Jack, Ashton's best friend, highlights Ashton's gentle side.

    My negative, and the reason I didn't rate the story higher, is Ashton's attitude toward Lorelei's ex, yet he completely dismissed his CRAZY ex. A few very predictable "twists" didn't work for me as well as they could. Also, Ashton kept secrets from Lorelei that didn't make sense to me. Once, Levine tried to justify a misunderstanding with a broken phone. However, here is a man who can find minute details about competitors and doesn't think to check out his love's best friend's place when he is looking for her with an explanation. I didn't buy it.

    I'm not a big, straight romance reader. I lean towards romantic suspense because I enjoy the anxiety. I do have spurts when I can't get enough romance. Nina Levine has me thinking about a few more romances soon.

    I would classify Ashton Scott as erotica light. There is talk about kink, but it isn't explicit. The characters have good chemistry and kept me turning the pages. The narrators, Rupert Channing and Sofia Lette have great Australian accents, transporting me to the country. Their voices are very soothing to hear. Ashton Scott is a KU book that includes audio, another big plus.

Lorelei is a confident, competent business woman with a desire to make the world a better place and using her business acumen to do so.     The second Ashton Scott lays eyes on Lorelei he is done for. She is everything he never knew he needed in a woman and he will do everything he can to make her his. If only he can learn that business can never be kept separate from pleasure when you are in bed with your partner.

    Well-written and well-paced, this was a steamy story that focused on the story of Lorelei and Ashton but also had a well-rounded balance of time with the secondary characters. Enjoy!

    I adore Nina Levine’s alpha males, and Ashton Scott is no exception. I read a number of chapters early on the when Nina posted them in her newsletter on A§§hole Monday, as she called it, and let’s face it Ashton regularly acted like one. It was a fitting title. What Ashton wants Ashton gets, and what Ashton wants is Lorelei Winters, in his bed. Oh yes, he also wants to buy her properties. Unfortunately for Ashton, Lorelei isn’t a pushover and Ashton has his work cut out for him. I’ve got to be honest and say these two are a match made in heaven, they’re both stubborn, both business savvy and their chemistry is off the charts, they’re adorable Together they battle their exes, and everyone out there that wants to sabotage their relationship and their businesses. A wonderful story, great writing with great characters, both main and supporting. I’m so pleased that Jack’s story is coming. He desperately needs his happy ever after.
