I never tire of Beck's books and this series had me drawn in from the beginning. Book three of this series contains so much pain, twists, turns, secrets, and steam. It picks up right where book two ended. Bianca and Tatum are captured by Callum's enemies and they have no clue what their future holds. Callum does everything in his power to get Bianca back. Once he does, the obstacles they go through are insane. The ups and downs put a strain on their relationship and they have to work even harder to make everything better. The only problem is his enemies are still lurking in wait. I truly loved this book and the series as a whole. They all keep you on your toes in some way and the chemistry just gets better and better. The character growth is wonderful to see…especially with Callum. He has a lot to learn when it comes to opening up and being able to communicate with Bianca. When he finally does it puts him in a better light and makes him stronger. I highly suggest checking out this whole series. Beck did a phenomenal job on it and I can't wait for Tatum and Romero's book.

    This entire series was amazing, just when you thought the next book couldn’t be as good as the last, you get proven wrong.

    If you’re looking for a book with an in-depth, emotional rollercoaster of a story PLUS some of the sexiest scenes you’ll ever read, then this book (and series) is for you. I cannot recommend this series enough.

    Now to wait until October for Tatum and Romero’s story

    Oh wow.. we are in the final book of Callum and Bianca’s story. I was excited to get to read the conclusion of their story. There was parts of this that broke my heart, made me laugh just a tiny bit, and bits that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time reading those parts. There was some spicy scenes but this book was mostly about finding out who done it and it was perfect! This was such a great series and I'm so excited for what else is to come in the Torrio empire. I want to read this series all over again.

    What a rollercoaster!!! Just when we think things are going well BAM nothing is as it seems!! I love how Bianca grew in this book and didn't give into Callum right away!! Finally all is revealed and it is not all well!! I still love Callum so much and he's flawed but honestly so hot and protective and lets be honest if we lived in a fantasy world he would be the perfect obsessed husband! I had mixed feelings on our side characters especially Tatum! She's been through a lot but so have many characters so I hope her book redeems her for me! Im sad this trilogy is over but such a great ending!

    I love how much Callum changed throughout the book, how he changed from such a crazy person in the beginning who was not willing to think of how Bianca would feel, to actually taking her thoughts and wishes into account…… especially after the whole doctor slip incident!!! I almost died when the doctor said it out loud!!! I think my heart stopped for a minute and I knew it happened 2 books ago!!!! I also loved how Bianca changed from almost child like behavior to a woman, I like to see when mental and emotionally the characters are on closer in age range even if there is a 20 year age gap.
    I loved the suspense, the challenges, the drama, the fighting, the spice, the loving moments and the ending!!
    I cannot wait to see how things play out for Tatum and Romero as well!!
    Overall I thought think was a great ending to the trilogy!!!

    Finally, these two get their happy ending. There are things that still need to be settled here, most importantly getting Bianca back at the beginning and making sure the threat against her/them is taken care of.

    Can't wait for Romero and Tatum's book. And I'm very interested in Sebastian and the woman he has to have.

    I have BINGED this series! I started, book one on 02.04.2024 and now it’s 06.04.2024 ( UK ) and I am obsessed! I haven’t been able to put this series down at all. It’s not spoken about enough on Tik Tok! The book tok girlies need in on this! The story was so well written, the drama, the spice was unmatched! I could not believe it! Then book 3 is a perfect book for the story of Callum and Bianca.. the best part is they didn’t have another breakup thank goodness, I was worried it would happen but that doesn’t mean there was any less drama! I just can’t thank the author enough. Now onto the final book!

    Empire of Pain is the third book in the Torrio Trilogy and concludes Callum and Bianca's story. The book is full of twists and turns as well as answering questions but also asking more. Love Callum, he knows what he wants and he goes after it. Bianca is often on the receiving end of this and her pateince gets thin at times. I loved the books and would like to see what happens next with Callum's daughter and Bianca's best friend Tatum, but will have to wait for the next book by this wonderful author.

    The story starts where it left off and proceeds with emotional highs and scary moments. The plot gets interesting and uncertain at various points and the feeling of threat looming around stays for the better part of the book.

    The story is as spicy as when it all started in book one and has stability between the characters. I enjoyed how well Bianca has adapted to her surroundings and embraced Callum’s nature. There were ups and downs and she bravely faced them. Kudos to her.

    The story is kind of all predictable but what put me off from the start was the timeline discrepancy every here and there and that made the understanding of events a little difficult. But rest everything was fine and enjoyable.

    Firstly I am a JL Beck fan, I have read many books by her and C Hallman. I have to say I enjoyed Empire of Lust, but I felt Empire of Lies was a slower read for me but I still enjoyed the cliffhanger when Bianca and Tatum got kidnapped, so I thought this is the book to give the ALL. Unfortunately it didn't give me the pull I thought it would. Callum is a bad guy with a good heart that would do anything for those he loves. I am interested to read more about Romero and Tatum.
