Wenn ein einfacher Fall von “Finden und zurückbringen” des Privatdetektiv-Duos Twig Starfig und Quinn Broomsparkle zu einer Mordermittlung des EBI Mord Dezernats wird, ist das wohl ein ganz normaler Tag im Elderreich.
Doch der Mord ist nicht das einzige Problem des Halbdrachen Twig Starfig. Mit Mord kann er umgehen. Schwieriger ist das Versprechen, das er seinem machthungrigen Feenvater gegeben hat.
Dazu kommt noch die nicht immer einfache Beziehung zu seinem Zauberer Quinn, den er beschützen will. Und beißen natürlich.

Dieses Buch ist Teil der Starfig Investigation Serie, kann aber auch als Einzeltitel gelesen werden.

Mischief, Magic, and Murder . . . That's a Maslow!

If you're looking for comedy, fantasy, or dead bodies in your romances (sometimes all three at once!), I'm your gal. I'm also a. . . gasp!. . . extroverted writer. It seems counterintuitive that as someone who is energized by people, I spend most of my time alone. Yet, that's the case. And I don't mind.

Mostly.

If I get writer's block or start to go a little stir crazy, I head out to a coffee shop, a restaurant, a friend's place--anywhere to fill up my need for human contact. It also helps that I spend a lot of time with the voices in my head. Some of them are really quite opinionated.

I love writing gay romance because I'm a sap for a happy ending, and I believe everyone—regardless of orientation—should be able to find books that have them. And if that romance comes with a dash of mischief, magic, or murder, all the better.

I believe that life is for living, kindness is contagious, and a good book makes the world a better place.

    Artefakt gefunden werden. Bei der Suche stapeln sich bald die Leichen, Starfigs Vater muß viel helfen und kann so den Sohn zwingen, eine politische Karriere zu beginnen. Das Team, daß sich im ersten Band zusammengefunden hat bewährt sich und wird effizienter, trotz mancher Aussetzer und Rückschläge. Es geht auch um Toppen und um denn Paarungsbiß'und Starfig merkt, daß er seine Eltern falsch eingeschätzt hat. Ich habe beide Bände hintereinander gelesen und dabei alles sehr gemocht, die Sprache, der Humor, die Leichtigkeit, die Fülle an Einfällen, trotz einer nicht unbeträchtlichen Anzahl an Toten hat man viel Spaß. Schöne Geschichte.

    Ich liebe die Geschichten von Twig und Quinn. Der zweite Teil hat mir noch besser gefallen als der erste. Twigs Familie wächst. Ich mag das Vertrauen zwischen den Familienmitgliedern, der Zusammenhalt. Ich mag die Freundschaft und die tiefen Gefühle füreinander. Ich liebe den Humor der Autorin. Die Story enthält alles, was eine gute und spannende Geschichte ausmacht.
    Eine rundum fantastische Geschichte, die ich unbedingt empfehlen kann.

    Die von der Autorin entworfene Welt ist wirklich fantastisch. Die Charaktere sind liebevoll beschrieben und die Story ist spannend und sehr oft besonders humoristisch. Absolute Leseempfehlung! Bitte diese Autorin (und die Autorinnen Mary Calmes und J.L.Langley und den Autor TJ Klune) weiter übersetzen. Danke
