Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.

He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-eight books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.

Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".

In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

    So many good points. I swear this author has a way of making you love all the characters - almost too much.
    There is nothing like yelling oh no! When you realize you have hit the 90% mark and there is going to be a part 2, but just like Raining Blood Part 1 (from Safe Haven) you start to see all the parts they may need to achieve before a Part 2… I can tell you that the books we may get between will be epic too.
    I can’t wait for Kim to bring it all to life in audio.
    I had to put it down for a few breathing breaks. The twists and turns and the blips of life from different perspectives.

    Okay. I'm going to confess that I took forever to read this book. This is a compliment to the author. I am so in love with the characters that I am terrified to lose one. It takes time for me to build up the courage to read some more! I usually pick up speed towards the end cuz I can't wait to see what happens. I am now at the point where I am praying for Christopher to hurry up and write the next one. I am inpatiently waiting for the next book.

    As soon as I saw this title had been released, I rushed to download it via Kindle Unlimited. So far, I’ve enjoyed every book in this series. This one was no exception.

    The people from Salvation now face the worst winter they’ve ever seen. As they are recovering from the brutality of a blizzard, bad news arrives at their doorstep.

    As with the other books, there are a myriad of characters, and new ones are added into the mix. Which can be a bad thing, because it’s hard to remember who everyone is, and they start losing their individuality. Which means they all start talking the same.

    However, it was nice to see Callie have doubts about herself and the role she plays in Redemption. She’s actually taken a back-step to give her mother more control, though it’s more for show then anything else.

    But an enemy they knew they’d have to face, eventually, rears it’s ugly head and totally disrupts the world the people of Redemption have been striving for. Some of them are forced to turn back into the people they were in Salvation to try and get an upper hand.

    As with book 5 of this series, this one isn’t as action-packed at the beginning, but once it starts ramping up, you won’t be able to put it down. After the ending of this book, I can’t wait to see what happens next.

    If you love dystopian novels with underdogs and villains, you’ll want to read this series. I give it 4 stars.
