Score another one for Rebecca Zanetti! I absolutely love this new series! Anna Albertini is a magnet for all kinds of trouble while trying to find her way as a new lawyer! She works in the Prosecutor’s Office until one too many mishaps gets her in real trouble with her boss! She’s still trying to figure out whether Aiden Devlin is doing illegal things, because she wants to be with him…the boy who rescued her when she was 10. Aiden is now a hunky man with secrets…and Anna wants to know them all!
Anna’s sister Tessa and Aiden are caught at the scene of the crime…where Tessa’s ex, Danny Pucci, has been murdered. Anna arrives at Tessa’s apartment just as the cops show up and Detective Pierce (another hottie) doesn’t seem to be too surprised that Anna is there! Anna cannot represent Tessa because she knows it’s a conflict of interest. So Anna hires Clark Bunne to defend Tessa. Then everything starts happening…in Anna Albertini style!
I laughed so hard while reading this second Anna Albertini book! The scene in the crematorium with Anna and Clark had me in stitches! They sneak into the Crematorium because they thought they heard someone crying for help and unfortunately someone shows up so they hide in a closet, but Clark has a sneezing fit, urns filled with ashes and bone fragments start falling off of shelves (breathing in dead people – yikes!) and then all hell breaks loose! Of course this latest stunt costs Anna her job.
Aiden makes a deal with Rich Pucci, who is Danny’s cousin, trying to get her out of hot water. Rich calls in his favor and Anna now has to defend him! Things get interesting on day 2 of the trial and Anna once again finds herself being kidnapped! Rich ends up dead but Anna finally finds out the truth about what Aiden does and Anna thinks maybe they can make this work. The reward for Rich’s capture lands in Anna’s hands, so she and Clark decide to open their own law firm. I am eager to see what happens with the new “Bunne and Albertini Law Firm!”
A surprise comes near the end when Anna figures out who killed Danny, while once again being held at gunpoint. The good guys show up and she’s rescued again. I cannot wait to read the third book in this series, Adverse Possession! If you haven’t read this series, you really should! You’re going to love it!

The characters drew me in even more to this story and even though I yelled at Nick, Grant, and yes even Aiden, I loved them even more this time around! And I can't forget to mention Anna's sisters Donna and Tessa, what I wouldn’t give to have sisters like them! Bailed out had well flushed out characters, a wonderful story that made you feel like you were more at home than in a book, romance (swoon, who doesn’t love a bad boy with a heart), humor (this cast of characters will have you chuckling at the shenanigans), and suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the last page. People don't just read "a" book... read THIS book! I’m not going to spoil anything, but this book gave me everything I wanted and SO MUCH MORE!!! Bailed Out was FANTASTIC. If you are looking for an easy to read, good humored book, full of suspense, and romance… this is the book for you! I LOVED IT and definitely recommend it!
