Balls To The Walls: An OPS Protector Romance (Owens Protective Services Book 15) Kindle Edition

4.1 out of 5 stars 613 ratings

True love is…taking a wooden stake to the abdomen for the lady you met two days ago.

I was sitting in a cantina smoking a cigar when I first saw her.

Eyes like honey and a body that tempted me to do something so irrational it would have killed any other man.

Lucky for me, my handy dandy weapon of choice was close by.

But she was worth it.

And I found that I was especially fond of her abilities with a corkscrew.

How could it not be love at first sight?

Although, my teammates could have shown just a little more enthusiasm when I showed up.

But no, they were focused on the gaping hole in my side.

Oh, and the little fact that I hadn’t bothered to call.

Still, couldn’t a guy get a hug or even a pat on the shoulder?

Or…hey, is that your wife? She’s totally hot. How about some shawarma?

You know, it’s almost like they didn’t miss me.

I just read the last two books back to back and haven't stopped laughing out loud yet. Guila's writing is fantastic. It's entertaining and it keeps a running storyline going without getting stale or obnoxious. She brings the other characters from her precious books into each new book which makes them so much more fun to read and enjoy. Whole I'm anxious to see what the ending of this will be, I am more excited to read more stories about how this sexy team will get into more trouble and out of it! Let's face it, that is the awesome parts of the books. The worst part is the waiting for the next book to come out!

This book was very different from her others, and it is amazing! Once I got used to switching views, it was truly hilarious and fun.

This book was all over the place. We do not really get to see a plot development or a story unfold between FNG and Honey. They basically do not see each other again throughout the entirety of the book once Honey is introduced. There was no build up, no climax, no real problem to be solved, etc. Therefore, so resolution. I felt like we started and ended in the middle of a book. I’m glad FNG is back, but his book was terribly disappointing.

FNG, aka Dean, is back with a wife and a stake in his side. He is full of outlandish stories about his time away and no one believes him or seems glad he’s back poor baby. FNG does love a good story and loves to talk and this book is full of flashbacks over the past year and a half. As alway lots of laughs, action and suspense but not much steam. I’m glad FNG is back though and hope he finally gets a team.

This has been an intersting read and a roller coaster ride of events and happenings.
These include all the Ops characters and then some.
There is a lot to figure out what is truth or fantasy, it is a puzzle to solve.
    I wish you luck !

This book has gotten my attention from page one, edge of your seat suspense, intrigue, action packed.

    Great Job Giulia Lagomarsino !!!

If I hadn’t read the other books preceding this one I would have been very lost and confused in keeping up with this one . All in all it was still a good book . Looking forward towards more OPS!

This books is chaotic and has no storyline. This has to be the worst book by this author. It seems like it is just a bunch of thoughts and made up Indiana jones wannabe. I have loved every book by her but this fell flat.. we wanted to know what happened to FNG but all we got is riddles.

If you’ve been reading this series you will have many questions about a certain character…..
Omg! This is a hard book to review! I can’t say too much…
I can say, it was one wild ride, and it has left a huge smile on my face for Christmas.

There’s never a dull moment with the OPS guys. There was lots of drama, action, and laugh out loud moments. It was a story full of many stories. A jigsaw puzzle, but some of the pieces are missing. Can’t wait for the next book!

3.0 out of 5 stars FNG

It's Odd because I was so looking forward to finding out about FNG (Dean) I wonder if his father is someone high up and thats why they don't know his name etc. But I felt let down in this book, as the reader I to got bored of the half story's (we can tell there is some truth to what he says but he never tells all) I felt sorry for cash.

I did wonder time ago if Rafe left FBI because he is now undercover for homeland that ties with that backup FNG might of had in this opp to me it sound like he hooked up with evils daughter's to get close and wipe out some? But who is he really married to? (under what names)

1.0 out of 5 stars I was lost
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 29, 2023
This was like one of those stories you click on Facebook and it takes you all over the place without getting to the end!! I'm not going to read the other 14 books to follow this story. I just did what I do on Facebook turn it off. It wasn't witty it was corny and not at all believable. I will give other books by this author a go but definitely not this series. Congratulations to those fans who have read ever book and are not going around dazed and confused.

I really wanted to know what happened to FNG but feel cheated in carrying on reading.
I don't normally write reviews and honestly don't know what to say about this book other than I hoped it would be as amusing as the others with a twist.I wanted to put it down so many times but told myself it would get better. It didnt.Won't be reading the rest.
Series started well with moments of wit and humour, this was a farse.
