The poetry included in this book tells a story and I feel takes the reader on a journey along with the author. It explores both beautiful moments and moments of great emotion and at times grief. The way they are portrayed I felt to be uplifting, and positive, while not shying away from the deep emotion of the topics. I would highly encourage any lover of poetry, those looking for a fresh approach to biography with a unique, refreshing, and uplifting approach to telling the story, or those looking to better understand or navigate the process of handling loss in a way that is positive and honors the joy of life to give this book a read.

Thank you for sharing your heart. With each page turn I could feel a different part of my heart being touched. When I got to the end of “Submerged”, tears were running down my face. The way you described the daily life of a nurse and their emotions….wow! So, thank you as I read the book again.
