Working with the bombshell Meno is pure torture. Hiring her to help out at Grand Rapids Wildlife Refuge is going down in history as my biggest regret. Not that someone so enchanting would want a goofball like me who’s still sniff-testing his laundry. I don’t have a lot to offer her but what I do I give her without question…I would do anything for her.

When a mysterious message in a bottle shows up on shore, it leads us on a Wild Christmas adventure where lines between friendship blur. Never one who thought wedding bells were in my future, yet here I stand at an altar…wishing it was real.

Perfect summer read
This short and entertaining read has all the summer vibes... Milo is a marine biologist working at a wildlife refuge. While working he runs into Meno, a young woman that is on a life discovery traveling in her van. As soon as they start working together they find themselves with and adventure, one that brings them to a treasure map and to a lot of romance. Insta love, close proximity and adventure has these two on a path of self awareness. For sure a cute spicy story set in the christmasy town of Candy Cane Key.

    Milo is a marine biologist working in a wildlife refuge, Meno comes in one day with a mother and son with an axolotl emergency. While there she decides to pick up an application and Milo hires her on the spot. On her first day they find a bottle with a riddle in it on the beach, they come to the conclusion that it is a treasure map. Meno is determined to find the treasure so they set off to follow the clues.

    I enjoyed reading Milo and Meno’s story. It was fast paced and fun with a generous sprinkling of spice. I particularly liked the treasure hunt aspect. This is very much an insta-love story, which is a trope I’m not overly fond of. I would have preferred if a little more time had passed between when Milo hired Meno and when they found the message in a bottle. I would have found it more realistic if they had spent some time working side by side while trying to resist their mutual attraction.

    Beards and Bikinis is part of the Man of the Month Christmas in July spin-off series. It is a short, sweet, and steamy, OTT, instalove, age-gap, girl dates her boss romance. Milo is a hunky marine biologist. Meno is a bubbly young lady going on a soul-searching trip in her van across the country, trying to escape her stuffy parents. When she lands in Candy Kane Key, she feels she has found home. When she and Milo meet for the first time at the Marine Wildlife Refuge, it's love at first site for both. He hires her on the spot. When working with the manatees one night, they find a message in a bottle. It appears to be a treasure map, and the two head out on their quest. The search is a lot of fun and brings them closer together. Their chemistry sizzled, and we ended up with a great HEA. This was such a sweet, spicy, and no drama story, just good feels. Milo is such a great big teddy bear! I loved it and can't wait for Beards and Babies next!!!.

    One of the reasons I dislike series written by multiple authors is because there tends to be that one book and author that just isn't up to the standards of the rest. There is a great story line, however the execution of the it leaves a lot to be desired. There were so many errors I lost track. Approximately a quarter of the book was highlighted with wrong words, run on sentences, incorrect punctuation, words missing the space between them, etc. Over looking those basic errors, the writing was stilted as if it was written in another language and the translation wasn't quite up to par. It felt like more of a rough draft for a high school writing assignment rather than a professionally written book.

    Be a little more creative in naming your main characters. Meno and Milo are so close in with both beginning with M and only being four letters, a quick read through becomes confusing. Meno for a female character is unusual which is refreshing.

    If you're writing in a series like this one, help out your fellow writers by proofreading and giving constructive criticism to keep a cohesiveness in quality.
    Glad I only paid $0.99 because it wasn't worth more. Thankfully, this wasn't the first from the series I read or I would be returning all the books.

    Milo is a marine biologist in Candy Cane Key, looking for help in cleaning the animal tanks. Meno is traveling alone, intent on finding out where her life is headed and applies for the job. One day they find a treasure map in a bottle on the beach and the storyline jumps into a steamy intriguing adventure. Loved the characters, their passion for life, personalities and banter as they tackle events happening around them. The great ending brings it all together.

    When Meno started working at the wildlife refuge she never imagined she would fall for her boss but that's exactly what happened. Milo is a marine biologist and he fell for Meno the moment he met her. These two have an instant connection and the more time they spent together searching for a hidden treasure the closer they got. This is a short, fun storyline with likable characters and an interesting ending. I look forward to reading the next book by this author. Beards & Bikinis is a great addition to the multi-author Man of the Month Club: Christmas in July series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

    The author has taken us back to Candy Cane Key and given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Milo and Meno. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, a treasure hunt and steam.
