    What an absolutely beautiful story to finish out Magnolia Grove. I love Laney and Ryan and his adorable daughter Pepper. Their grief and growth were so refreshing in this story. You have a single father whose daughter has lost her mother and her world. She closes in on herself, and he lets her take her time finding her way back with the help of his new neighbor, Laney. She has no idea the impact she has right away. A hidden celebrity trying to find his way, Ryan is so gone for Laney. The chemistry is great, and the story brought a smile to my face.

Ryan is a country music star looking for a quiet, safe town to celebrate the holidays with his little girl, after a painful year of grieving. Magnolia Grove was the perfect solution with its compassionate townspeople, holiday activities and spirit, and most of all… Laney. Laney loves small town life, and she has more in common with her new famous neighbor and his adorable daughter than she she ever thought possible. Could her instant connection with them lead to something lasting, or is Laney headed for heartbreak, when Nashville beckons Ryan home?

    This is my first book by this author, but I definitely want to check out more! I loved the attention to the emotions at play, especially with little Pepper. She was so well written, and totally stole my heart! Ryan was such a good dad, and yet, he knew when it was time to start thinking of himself a bit. How could he not be bowled over by Laney? She was a fantastic character… outgoing, so loving, and involved in every aspect of the community. The way she empathized with Pepper and made herself a safe space for her, truly touched my heart! While I loved watching the slow burn romance unfold and ignite, it was really about all three of them for me, and the way this amazing town rallied around their people! I’ve read every book in this series, and it’s been such a pleasure to see different authors’ perspectives of the same town! What a fun experience!

    Our last visit to Magnolia Grove for 2024, this multi-author series is always a great escape to this small town. Filled with holiday charm and wonderful characters, Ryan is looking for a hideaway for himself and his daughter, and Laney is our small-town gal who is all things holiday in Magnolia Grove! The celebrations and festivities are just what Ryan is looking for for his daughter.

    Our characters have a connection, but his time in Magnolia Grove has an end date. As these neighbors begin a slow friendship to more, as stolen moments become frequent. Will the magic of the holidays give them a second chance at love?
