- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2025Wish I read some of these stories in between the Beechwood Harbor Mystery.
I found some new anthologies to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2024I enjoyed all the personal perspective stories. Good to see different points of view. I love that the collection is adventures of familiar characters. Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2023These were the perfect size as I was busy and would have been upset to not be able to sit and read for hours. This was perfect. Thank you for all the character views for the Christmas stories. Loved them.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2023This was a fun collection of cozy little short stories. I had already listened to a few before, in a different collection, so I skipped over those (since it was very recent), but I really enjoyed all the new ones!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2020I enjoyed the short stories. Fun to read about Lacey too.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2023I do enjoy this series but there a things that just annoy me and make the stories less than they could be. The errors are all things that are just sloppy. Multiple typos ex bee there rather than been there. Inconsistent characters like Agent Bramble. Either she's a hawk or an eagle. Pick one and stick with it. .
I'm also a lifelong myth and folklore addict. The seal people of Scotland and Ireland are one of my favorites. The Selkie are SEALS. Tide dance was just wrong. Seals and sea lions are not the same. They are totally different species. I guess that is the author's privilege to create what she wants but I find it annoying.
I always picture Adam, probably my favorite character, as a smallish Newfoundland as his dog side. My 186lb female Irish Wolfhound could squash him except she is too lazy and sweet.
Overall this series is fun though I enjoyed the Ghost series with Scarlet more. Is there a reason supernatural female heroes seem to always be redheads?😁
- Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2020A fun collection of shorts - easy to fit into a busy reading schedule. I especially loved the four-part Christmas one featuring different characters inside an ongoing story - very imaginative!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2023Over half of this book is a repeat of the Christmas book. Or maybe the Christmas book is a repeat of this one.
