- Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2025This is a good collection of short stories that gives more background on the individual residents of Beechwood Harbor and how they relate to each other. It is best to read the Magic Mysteries series first to avoid spoilers.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2024This collection of stories is a wonderful way to get to know the characters of Beechwood Harbor. Holly, Adam, Posy and a plethora of supernatural creatures, all appear. It’s definitely a fun way to spend some reading time!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018This is a nice mixup of before, during and after some of the other Beechwood Harbor books. I like the idea of magical types trying to live in plain sight of "humans", the characters are individual and colorful. Read the series....they are such fun. You start to feel for residents of the Manor and all the problems that present themselves. Enjoy!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2024Love the short stories that fill in the gaps of Beechwood Harbor and the magical people who live there. Great quick read
- Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2024This is the first story collection for Danielle Garrett's Beechwood Harbor stories. There are 6 stories, including the story of how Posy got Earl back. All are excellent and fill in gaps between the Witch books. The second book collection is already available, and I will review that one separately. If you enjoyed the Witch books, as I did, you're going to enjoy these short stories, as well. Highly recommended!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2024I enjoyed the between stories adding more background and depth to the books I so enjoy reading. Danielle Garrett has a way with words and stories, very entertaining reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2018I have read some of these before as they were previously published. The Nick story was new and excellent. The story of how Holly got her cat seems to end abruptly. How did Posey's ex husband whose name is Earl become Hank? I do love the characters that this author creates. And I love Beechwood Manor with it's little paranormal family.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2023Loved how the backstories and little additional information is included in this collection of novellas. It fills in some of the answers to questions about the past and Holly and her friends.

Absolutely loved this collection of Beechwood Harbor short stories. They fill in some of the character/plot blanks very nicely. I recommend reading it in conjunction with the full length stories.
