    Overall I liked this series! The story was original but also something you’ve heard a bunch of times.

    The writing was hard to follow at times. There are typos throughout the book too which is kind of silly. I feel that the author made it simple in some ways but then made some of the backstories overly complicated.

    A lot of people seem to like the ending but I feel like it’s a little too perfectly wrapped in a bow for a story that had a million twists and turns.

    Like I said, overall I did like the story and enjoyed reading it a majority of the time.

    As the final book of the Breath of Fate series, Tethered wraps up storylines, brings connections full circle, and ends with a happy ending, even if some of it was bittersweet - the peace and hope at the end fit so well with the journeys the characters have been on.

    AJS is very consistent with the voices of her characters throughout the series - especially those who narrate. The world is familiar with twists of paranormal beings creating an incredibly believable story.

    The series needs to be read in order and I highly recommend diving in!
