    I loved this book it was great, the story was written well by Teresa Wolf and the characters are unique. When the book was brought into our homes you sit down and start to read, the magic starts to happen when you feel like they are coming to life into the lounge room. A good life brings a debt and they need to be paid-up when someone comes calling. Shay leaves from her home into another. Roberto Moretti (Rocco) works for Vincent Lombardi as his Enforcer, Rocco received that nick name because he killed Vincent's Enforcer and his name was Rocco and Vincent is not good with remembering names. Vincent bought Rocco a present for his birthday and it was waiting in his bedroom. Vincent Lombardi put on a party to celebrate Rocco's birthday and he was to show off his present from Vincent, Emelio is Vincent's son is not happy he still believed Rocco should have died all those years ago. Vincent had fainted so they called him an ambulance, Rocco is sitting and waiting does he need to run or what this moment is a life and death situation. I absolutely loved this book and I do recommend getting the book to read.

    This is a quick action-packed steamy read I found hard to put down a definite page-turner which can be read in a lunch break.

    I thought this book had potential but it missed the mark. The mafia enforcer was soft. He almost cried because he felt so bad for punishing the h. I wasn't expecting that. And what I thought was supposed to be an innocent h was very forward. I would have preferred a cold and dominant H and a shy and scared h.

    This is the tenth book in this series of standalone books. This one features Roberto “Rocco” Moeretti. He was a 17 years old when he thought he would die. Instead he was saved and became the Enforcer of the Lombardi family. 21 years later he is given a “gift,” Shay Caden. She belongs to Vincent Lombardi and has so since before she was born. She was promised to him by her father to ensure he had money to raise his status. She finds out about this as Mr. Lombardi comes to collect. They must learn to trust one another to survive. This story is fast paced and full of action and steam. Teresa Wolf is a master at packing her stories full of all the angst, romance and action in a few words. I always look forward to her next book.

    I can’t get enough! I think this is one of the more sentimental ones in the series. The one thing that remains constant in the series is you have the MC with a ‘bad boy’ who ends up doing everything to save and help her and I absolutely love it!

    This was a fun mafia,alpha,forced together novella.I love Teresa Woods writing. And even though it was short you still feel that hope,or that little bit of dread that things will go ok for them.
    Rocco was given a choice ,basically you live or you die,your choice. Shays options were taken from her but she was confronted with this man who was known to be hard,a killer. But she turns him gooey and soft. In the end I think they both got the best life out of the bad options that life has presented to them.
