Boys vs Alien: Book 1: Earth in Danger Series Kindle Edition
Sharanjit Thind is sick of his drab, regular life, and cannot wait for school to end for the summer. Looking forward to some excitement at last, he is in for quite a surprise, for it is on the last day of school, right after a farewell party for their seniors, that Sharan comes face to face with terrifying events that will change his life forever...
Within the next twenty-four hours, he will be visited by an alien, kidnapped by the creature, and his friends - Umang and Qamar - will be gravely endangered. Not only will their sanity be threatened, their beloved planet Earth will come horrifyingly close to a takeover by the villainous inhabitants of the planet Zakerl.
Too much for three fifteen-year old boys to handle? Read the book to find out.
Note: This book was originally published as The Zaken Takeover in 2012. The current version is significantly updated, and has some new sections and adventures.

About the author

Upreet Dhaliwal is a retired Director-Professor who spent decades at the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, India. She trained as an ophthalmologist, and spent the happiest years of her life as one.
When she became a medical teacher in 1994, it added value to her life, but things got vastly more interesting when she (re)discovered the humanities. Bringing the humanities into health professions education has been a source of great joy and learning, and much of her latest work has centered around poetry, narratives, and Theatre of the Oppressed as applied to health professions education.
She is a fierce champion of the humanities in medicine and believes that they are key to reminding people of their – and others' - humanity. She is Editor of a health humanities journal called Research & Humanities in Medical Education – or RHiME. RHiME is an online-only, open-access, peer-reviewed journal (www.rhime.in). Initiated in 2014, it is still going strong thanks to the selfless effort of a handful of fabulous people and practically no finances.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Sci-Fi story with a difference.
Enjoyed the story and the excitement of what will happen next. Would love to see what the QRSTUV gang of friends does, if there is a sequel to this.
