Lawrence is a businessman and co-author of best-seller, TRIPLE JUMP TRAILBLAZERS, as well as being co-creator of the HARVEY-BENNS METHOD, and a former Masters World Champion in the Triple Jump (M35).

Lawrence is passionate about his family, the military, business, and sport, together with a keen interest in those who have paved the way for what we are able to enjoy today – especially in athletics, for which he has personally supported many athletes over the years.

In business, Lawrence has worked in senior positions across a number of international organisations (Aldi, Barclays, PizzaExpress, and Tesco), has launched multiple businesses (most notably, JACK’S), and founded a charity that supports unfunded talented British track & field athletes to fulfill their potential and realise their dreams.

Lawrence is especially proud of his father’s military service and boarded at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School for seven years, achieving Colour Sergeant in CCF (Combined Cadet Forces) and Head Pupil in his final year. Thereafter, Lawrence went on to study Business at Loughborough University (1999-2003).

    A wonderfully written book by authors who are passionate about the sport. Excellent read for anyone wanting to learn more about the triple jump and the athletes that made the event what it is today.

    When you have the likes of Jonathan Edwards and Willie Banks prepared to publicly endorse this book, any athletics fan must take it seriously. As an ex National Junior Triple Jumper, myself, I find the Harvey Benz method fascinating and I thoroughly enjoyed the read. It's easy for our judgement to be clouded by recency bias when it comes to who we deem "the greatest" in athletics. Quite simply, the Harvey Benz method is the only system I have EVER seen which is able to effectively identify and rank our best ever athletes relative to their generation. I just hope the authors will expand to other sports too!

    What an Exceptional book! I didn’t expect to learn so much about the legends of both past and present, it had me hooked! A real opener as to what each triple jumper had to go through to achieve their greatness, some harrowing history. This book has made me appreciate the sport on a whole new level. And I love the new Harvey-Benns Method, can’t believe someone didn’t think of this before, I can only congratulate the authors. If you love sport or have a sports fan friend or family, it really is the perfect gift!
