    Lemon has lived an empty life, but now he is gone and she is free for the first time. Carson, who has wanted her since early school years and is now a cop, helps her get through the perils of life. The characters are solid and determined and sometimes questioning their ability to love. The backstories round out the people involved and prep you for the unexpected surprises that come. Slowly views change and hearts open. People can heal and go on with their lives. The locale is fantastic and the atmosphere is buzzing. This book is a wonderful little vacation from the world today. Now on to more from this author.

    I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Studs in Stetsons Series. It can be read as a standalone but I think a lot more falls into place if you have read Notes in Love. This book is Lemons story of how she finds love from an old friendship. Carson is her knight in shining armor in several ways. Lemon has to find a way to trust in her heart even though she does not think she has much of it left. I thought both characters were great. The storyline is full of heartache, drama, suspense, danger, steam and of course love. I look forward to the next book Megan writes.

    Broken in Love is the second book in the Studs in Stetsons series. This is the first book I have read by Megan Hetherington and I will say that I did enjoy this book. My only issue really is that there were times I was not sure what was happening or why characters were doing certain things. I think this may be because I had not read the first book, but I may be wrong on that. But in any case I thought the characters were sweet, romantic and lovely in this emotional story.

    I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

    I enjoyed Carson and Lemon's story, they may have had their differences but they were good together, their connection and chemistry was strong, they were made for each other.

    Carson's love for Lemon will will warm your heart and have you wishing for a similar man of your own. Lemon has a lot of baggage that she struggles to leave behind and Carson is willing to support her through the discovery of her love for him. This is a page turning romance that will have you rooting for each of them to finally have the love they deserve with each other. It's a stand alone that's part of a series, which I enjoy as I like to hear about previous books' characters and how their lives together have progressed. I continue to be captivated by Hetherington's ability to share a wonderful romance story, writing characters that grab your heart and don't let go.

    Lemon and Carson's story is a whirlwind friends to lovers romance with a dash of suspense. Carson has been in love with Lemon since childhood so he jumps when he gets a chance to prove his love. I received an arc and volunteered to review it.

    I wasn’t a big fan of Lemon after reading Forged in Love so I was a bit hesitant to start reading this book but once I jumped in I thought it was the perfect weekend read. It had a good balance of suspense at the beginning, mixed in with unrequited love and frustration throughout from Carson and then the growth and newfound confidence within Lemon. I loved how things flowed naturally with Carson and Lemon, they were able to relearn about one another as adults instead of just jumping into a new relationship once they reconnected. I slowly fell for Carson just as Lemon did and I wad left with a smile on my face.
