Billie and Lance have been together for three years. Together, they've built up their food truck business and have established themselves as a solid couple.
As a surprise, Billie books a romantic getaway for he and Lance to both explore Ireland and to research and meet where Lance's distant relatives live.
What follows is a very sweet and sexy adventure between two likable heroes. I loved how the trip solidified the bond between abilities and Lance and truly enjoyed meeting a new, interesting cast of characters, as well as, a new found family.
I really loved this book and enjoyed watching two nice guys work hard to build their lives together. It left me with a huge smile on my face and hated to see it come to an end.
Though this book could probably be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the first book, Green Eyed Boy so you can truly experience the sweet and enduring love Billie and Lance share together. I liked the first book, but I admit I loved this one. It made my heart happy to see them get the happy ending they deserve.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5 stars!.

This is the continuing story of Billie and Lance who run a restaurant and food truck in Stoney Brook, Maine. In the prequel, they meet when Billie ends up in Stoney Brook and helps Lance in his food truck. They fall in love, and everything falls into place.
Lance is one of these workaholics who never trusts anyone else’s with his babies, being his restaurant and food truck, so Billie and Lance’s mother go behind his back and book a trip for the boys to Ireland. Lance’s family had emigrated from there years ago, but they still have family and Lance’s mother was still in contact with some of them. The family in Ireland was also in the restaurant business so they had lots in common. The trip was to allow Lance to get back to his roots and give both him and Billie and well-deserved vacation.
First, there was no angst in the book, except for Lance trying to drive from Dublin to the small town where his Irish relatives lived. Remember, they drive on the left-hand side of the road in Ireland and most of the cars for rent aren’t automatics. I couldn’t do it. Other than this, everything was very sweet.
The author went into great detail about all the touristy stuff in Dublin and in the area where Lance’s relatives lived. I found it really interesting, but I like that sort of stuff. It kept my attention. I think the way it was presented will keep others’ attention as well. It’s not an action filled book, but it’s still good.
It's also very very romantic. In the hands of a lesser writer, this book would have been garbage, but the author didn’t cross the line from sweet to saccharine. She did a fantastic job and made it believable. She gave us two men who are very much in love. Their story is very nice. It’s not over the top. It’s not melodramatic. It’s sweet and nice, and that’s not a bad thing.
I think more people would be into this book than they think. Give it a shot.
