Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.

He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-eight books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.

Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".

In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

    Book 4 of this series is even better than the last three!

    I was so scared so many times! The Ferals, rogue guards, missing humans, girls running into war?!?

    The little settlement Callie and her friends call home, suddenly get an influx of new residents in the form of the remaining Level 3 survivors and Salvation guards and their families whom helped and planned a massive escape. The escape doesn’t go as planned - neither does the new combining of people who can’t quite see themselves as anything other than enemies.
    Poor Si! Poor Matt! Life is anything other than expected! Dani (I think) said it best, “what shitastrophy is in store for us today” - rough quote…
    I loved getting to know more of Phil’s background.

    I’m so torn, I don’t know if I want another Safe Haven, Doomsday Part 2, End of Everything or Book 5 of the Burning Tree series first. Ok - I want them all - all the time. Chris is a brilliant author and I’m so glad he gets to watch as the characters come to life and go on many adventures.
    The books are balanced - fear and joy, sorrow and comfort. Whether it is zombies, the administration, cannibals or creepy guys like Fry - they get balanced with strong, brave, relentless (also a great series) characters who won’t give up or let go of their ideals! If this is your first time picking up a book by Christopher Artinian, you’ll get to experience the journey and I promise you’ll want to go see where Callie, Susan, Phil & Debbie, and all the rest started.

    The absolute best title for this book. The ups and downs, twists and turn, had me on the edge of my seat for the entire read. I got to the end and was like Noooooooooooo! It can’t be? I’m done with it already??? It was so good, i tried to slow read but I just couldn’t. Every page just flew by. Minutes turned into hours and now it’s over, for now. Chris, I’m going to need the next book stat. Absolutely EXCELLENT!! Start with the first one, Salvation. You will NOT be disappointed!!
