A PASSIONATE WRITER OF DARK ROMANCE

I’m not afraid to push the boundaries in my writing. My dark, jealous, possessive heroes will have you in a chokehold while leaving you craving for more.

I love to write stories drowning in dark romance, and laced in spice that will make you question your morals. You’ll love every minute of reading about the possessive men who would burn the world down for you, then have you screaming their name amongst the ashes.

My aim is to incorporate darkness into the romance world while offering readers a place of solace.

Finally stepping out of the shadows in 2021, I released my first book, ‘Cal’ with the support of TL Swan and her Cygnets.

Otherwise known as ‘Becky,’ I currently reside in the UK with my husband and our two teenage sons, along with our three adorable fur-babies.

I enjoy nothing more than immersing myself in my writing cave and delivering deliciously, dark stories for my Reckless Readers.

    I read Bren’s book a while back and wanted to read this one. I knew I would return because I loved that book. Definitely reading the series out of order but I have no regrets.

    I cannot express how much I love Connor and Will. This book made me cry a few times. Connor’s PTSD is prevalent throughout the book but his family never saw it. It takes Will returning to see that he needs help after witnessing his brother’s murder.

    Will has been through significant trauma of her own which is discussed in the book as well.

    I really enjoyed seeing Will’s relationships with the brothers as well. She is a very strong willed woman able to stand her ground with a bunch of mafia men around.

    I really liked the writing for the storyline and the characters.

    The 4 rather than 5 is because a lot of it is predictable, a bit over the top drama and a heroine who was too quick to forgive.

    The book was good. This is my third book by the same author and the books are great but the only thing I don’t like is how the men sleep around with ton of women but they get mad if someone looks at the “love of their lives” the wrong way etc.
    This is a second chance romance
    Will is a survivor, she left after her dad almost unalived her when she was pregnant and also after Con told her to get rid of the baby and gave her 2K to pay for it
    She met Jack and married him and then later realized they were better off as friends
    Con finds her after his brother tells him he saw her and he gets mad and posessive because she was married for 2 years. And then he goes and sleeps with another woman
    And the next day he goes and sees her for the first time in 4 years.
    They’re in danger so they decide that it’s best if Will and keen stay with Con until the danger goes away. That’s when I almost dnfd
    Con could’ve grovelled but he didn’t… And will could have made him grovel but she didn’t. He just said sorry a couple of times and she forgave him and then on their son’s birthday Con ditches them to take one of his ex’s to rehab and days before that he ditched Will to be with her and even though nothing happened to them Will let him off way too easy.
    After that the kid has an allergic reaction and is taken to the hospital and they’re trying to reach Con but he’s way too busy taking the other woman to rehab.
    Then when he goes to the hospital everyone is mad at him (As they should) and they tell him he’s not needed so he goes into shock and tries to off himself
    They find him Will forgives him and end.
    I understand he had issues and stuff but the things he did were not reedemable, and his mom. Omg. Telling Willow that forgiving him would make their love stronger? WTH
    I know what she went through but god damn that was not it
    Connor needed to heal on his own
    Willow needed to be stronger and be happy with someone else
    Don’t get me wrong the book was great but I feel like it could have been better but maybe that’s just my opinion and you will love it!!

I will say this book talks about abuse, drugs, sucidal attempt, talk of abortion, and harming others. It does have a few funny parts like the nephew Reece he has a way with words, lol.

    I thought I disliked Con’s story but that was only bc I didn’t see more of what was written rather what was being expressed. He struggled so much and I had thought that the brothers were tighter than that. Only to read of what happened, it truly broke my heart. Will always being there for her man and literally fighting for their love, it made me so much happier that at least there is someone there for Con. They both truly deserve their happily ever after.

    I really wanted to enjoy this book. However, it just wasn't there for me. The plot had a lot of potential, but the delivery fell short. The FMC, Will, seemed like she was going to be a lot stronger and a force to be reckoned with, but she was too much of a sucker for Con's D. Con really had no redemption and just got forgiven blindly because he has issues. I just feel like there could have been so much more. The one redeeming quality in this story is the spice was 🥵🥵🥵. However, I would consider Con more territorial over Will than properly obsessed based of his actions. I will still be reading the rest of the series because I need the background to move on to read the Brutal Secrets duet, and I am excited to read Finn's story.

    This is the second book in BJ Alpha’s Secrets and Lies series and it’s freakin’ fantastic!!
    This book has a lot of triggers for me but having experienced reading triggers by another author and the beautiful way she wrote them, and reading BJ Alpha’s previous book, which shows special needs I decided that for me I would push myself.
    I am a widow whose late husband committed suicide and I now suffer from PTSD, grief, anxiety and depression.
    But what I’ve found is that although these subjects are hard to read about, it’s also comforting that beautifully talented authors can portray such things with empathy, care and utter respect. They allow the world at large a glimpse into the life of someone who is not what other people perceive to be ‘normal’.
    BJ Alpha wrote this book with such an outstanding talent and love. Her portrayal of grief and mental health was heartfelt and beautiful in its pain and struggle.
    Con is a man who I can relate to. Grief has left him with what seems like insurmountable problems. I love how BJ Alpha showed that grief has no timeline, she showed that someone can function, live their life whilst also withering away inside.
    Will is a beautiful character. She sees his pain, sees past his barriers to the fragile person beneath.
    This story is a beautiful rollercoaster ride that will consume your every thought and feeling.
    I am so proud of BJ Alpha for the way she has portrayed grief, suicide, anxiety and depression. Bringing such struggles to the forefront shows that others can and do understand the detrimental effect our mental health has on every aspect of life.
    BJ Alpha you are a truly talented writer and I am so very glad I found your books. You have given me something very special. Understanding and acceptance. Thankyou.

    This is the second book in this series and I have to say it sucked me in just as much as the first book.
    You can’t help but love both of these characters. They have been through so much together and separately. This author knows how to make you feel sorrow for each character and have hope for them all at the same time.
    I can’t wait to read the next one and find out if the little nugget of info the author left for us in this book gets revealed in the next one. I guess we will have to read on to see
