Lily has no idea her kind heart is going to change the world. When she sees Matt by himself at the neighborhood park, Lily realizes he may feel alone and out of place.     I love this book and the story behind them. My students enjoy doing the Kindness Carry project and it is one I will continue to do every year. This book has such a positive message and it is perfect for any age. I love the Carry at the back of the book and I feel like it is the perfect addition to any classroom or child's library to teach kindness and respect to each other.

    Our family loves Carry, her message, and this book is heartwarming! Carry arrived at our front door at the perfect time! Literally and figuratively because she arrived for Valentine’s Day and we needed a kindness pick-me-up! Thank you Carry for reinforcing that Kindness wins and the importance of being kind to all. We will carry Carry Kindness in our hearts and minds wherever we go and help spread her word. We also love this book’s illustrations that jump off the pages and grab you!

    This story send the important message of carrying and spreading kindness to all you meet. It is a wonderful story for teachers to incorporate into their social emotional learning. Students will learn that no matter their age they are never to young to change the world. The author also includes suggestions for activities children can do to carry kindness! The artwork is really great, and it depicts diversity among the children without mentioning it or 'preaching'. It could even inspire a greater interest in geography!
