Christie Gordon is the author of steamy, heartfelt gay romance novels that explore the emotional journey of men discovering themselves and finding love. It all started when she stumbled upon MM fanfiction by accident—and let's just say, it was love at first read. Inspired by the genre's mix of passion and complexity, Christie transitioned from reading about men in love to writing her own stories. After taking fiction writing classes at a local community college, she published her first MM romance novel in 2009 with a small press, and she’s never looked back.

When she’s not writing, Christie watches boys-love dramas, creates digital art, or is serenaded by her snoring one-eyed rescue pug. A graduate of both Electrical Engineering (BS) and Business Administration (MBA), she spends her "day job" navigating the high-tech world, but her heart belongs to the characters who live in her books. Christie currently resides in the Phoenix metro area, though she’s also lived in California’s Bay Area and Minnesota (which probably explains her deep love of pumpkin spiced latte coffees and hockey).

She’s also the proud mother of two young-adult sons who provide plenty of material for stories—usually in the form of chaotic shenanigans. But no matter what, Christie’s always up for a new adventure, whether it's on the page or in the real world.

I picked up this series randomly, and I'm so glad that I did! I'm loving this series so far, all these boys are just adorable 😍

Another one for the books. It was great getting Josh's, Max from books ones, best friend! Yet another person to find their true love and with someone who really loves him. Gavin is successful and gorgeous and so gay. He's out but not at work because what's the point if all he has are hookups? He's never been in love or had super strong feelings for anyone before, until he sees Josh at work in a line of new hires starting at his company. It's love at first sight, and he's left stunned and having to know who Josh is and why he's having such a strong reaction. But first he wants to find out his status and sexuality so every morning he engages Josh in conversation but he's out of his element and isn't getting anywhere even when he finds out Josh is bi and Josh knows that hes gay. But then he and Josh are sent out of town for work at the same time and see each other at the airport. And when Josh finds himself without a room to stay in and Gavin has one with two beds, he sees his chance and takes it. Josh just graduated from college and found a great new job. He sees the hottie he and Max used to crush on in college at his new job. He thinks Gavin is gorgeous, and there's definitely an attraction, but with them being co workers and everyone always hitting on Gavin, just like in college, he puts it to the back burner. He can't lose his job for a player. But when he finds himself sharing a room with Gavin, things come to a head as they get to know each other better, and the chemistry sky rockets. There's some back and forth with these two in the beginning with Gavin chasing Josh and Josh not believing that Gavin could like him but when they finally get together he wonders how and why he ever fought it. Things aren't perfect as Gavin has some trauma from losing his parents and obstacles trying to get in between them, but they hold strong to each other. They share deep love and some very sexy times, but most importantly, they're in it forever.

Some sadness in it but it was sweet love at first sight maybe lust at first sight but a lot of smash times and a HEA

It was sad that Gavin seemed so affected by the loss of his parents as he was finishing college so that he does not seem to be able to see himself in a real relationship. He only does casual and does not feel that any guy really holds his interest until he meets Josh, a new employee at the place he works who is just out of college. When Josh catches Gavin's eye he flirts. Josh initially does not get that Gavin, a really attractive and social guy, would be into him and then he is cautious about getting involved with a coworker. It actually works in their favor that Josh is hesitant as it gives them time to get to know one another and allows Josh to become more confident that he can attract Gavin. It also gives Gavin time to realize that he can be into someone for more than a quick tumble and that it is good for him to be in a relationship - first friendly then more. I really liked the pace of this story. The author really takes us through the building of a relationship and the evolution of both men as they make their way towards one another and the evolution of their HEA. This was especially good for Gavin who experiences another tough situation and needed to learn the value of a partner in helping one make it through.
I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Josh has been in the periphery in the previous 2 books in this series. He's been busy being preppy and finishing college. He's out in the work force now and on the first day of the job attracts the eye of Gavin who goes out of his way to introduce himself and find out more about Josh Nelson. Gavin thinks Josh is straight until our favorite bartender, Andrea, fills him in that he's bi. According to Kate, Gavin's sister and only family, when Gavin wants something he goes after it and that is what he plans on doing with Josh. After they are sent to Austin for a work trip, they end up together in the same room and their attraction grows. I certainly didn't see the issues with Adam at first but we soon realize that Gavin and his best friend Adam do not have the same kind of friendship that Josh has with Max. This becomes apparent after Gavin gets some scary news and needs Josh to be there for him. Josh is more than willing to be that person for Gavin, if Adam would just get out of the way and respect boundaries. We also get to see the other guys, Tanner/Max and Carter/Shane and Dana. Another great read.

I almost didn’t read this one, I don’t find Josh very interesting in the first two books. So glad I don’t listen to myself, this one turned out to be my favorite of the 3 I’ve read so far. Gavin is so sweet and he made me love Josh.

I liked the story and the characters were good but I seemed to be missing something. The book had instalove, where maybe it shouldn’t have been so quick. I love instalove type stories but this book felt forced to me. I wanted a natural progression to them falling not like, “he hot, gotta bang him”…

This was a great addition to the series. I really liked Josh in the previous books and was happy to see him get his happily ever after.

Gavin is not out at work but finds himself incredibly attracted to Josh and tries to pursue him but Josh does not initially realize that is what Gavin is doing. Josh is worried about starting a relationship with a colleague and is very intimidated by the people he perceives as pursuing Gavin from flirting at work to his incredibly successful Instagram following. Honestly I was surprised by Josh's lack of confidence but I loved watching what he and Gavin built together.

Gavin's friend Adam was openly hostile to Josh and tried to push them apart but I was glad that Josh was more confident at that point and stood up for their relationship as did Gavin.

Great read and strong addition to the series. I love these books not only for the relationships but also the friendship and found family the characters have developed.
