    I just loved this book!. Read it in one sitting, as couldn't put it down, eager to get to the end of the mystery and love story. So delicious!

    It is well written, especially compared to similar books from American authors who seem to relish decadence, violence, incredibly needy or weak female interest, not to mention shady and troubled male characters.

    Loved the way January James describes the relationships between the three main love interest. Absolutely love Sam and fell in love with him from the beginning. So well drawn as a character, yet, it would have been nice to have his voice in the book..

    The plot is fast paced, believable, and not sappy. I identify with and appreciate her strong female characters who don't rely on men to make it in life, and give them hell when they are trying to push them around!

    Eagerly waiting for her next book. Thank you for hours of pure enjoyment!

    Ms. James has done it again. This book has everything.... mystery, romance, intriguing characters and Sam (my newest book boyfriend). I was sucked into this storyline and just couldn't stop reading it, I wanted and needed to know more about what was going on. And just when I thought I had everything figured out, she pulled the rug out from underneath and threw me for a serious loop.
    You really need to read this book, you will not be disappointed

    This was my first book that I have read by Ms. James and it definitely had a different spin to it. The novel revolves around three different characters, but you only get two POVs. This enemies-to-lovers, billionaire romance has plenty of twists and turns, secrets, drama, and steamy scenes. Our three main characters are Eliza, Sam, and Jay. You will read Eliza and Jay's POVs.

    Eliza is an incredibly talented young woman. She is hardworking and hopes to run her own company one day. She has liked her best friend, Jay for years. When they attend a friend's wedding, things start to heat up. However, he is currently in a relationship and has to end it first. Months go by and it never happens. When Eliza meets Sam, things take a total turn and now she has to decide between Jay and Sam.

    Jay never knew about Eliza's feelings until attending a friend's wedding. When he learns the truth, he decides to break it off with his girlfriend, Laura. However, things don't go according to plan and he is now trapped in a relationship. Can he find a way to end things with Laura before Eliza moves on?

    Sam works security at Eliza's job, but also does some other shady things. He has his own agenda and needs to stick to it. However, his feelings for Eliza get in the way and now he has to make a tough choice. Does he stick to his agenda or show Eliza who he is and what he does?

    Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I was confused at first in the beginning, but after getting past the first two chapters I understood the novel better. Once really getting into the story, I couldn't put it down. I liked the twist this author took on writing this novel and bringing in only two POVs instead of all three. I am interested in seeing what she writes next.

    I really liked this book and it was good to get Eliza's book. She was great character and I liked her. She had a historywith Jay but they couldn't be together. Have to say that I didn't like Jay during most of this book.But Sam on the other hand was interesting and a bit mysterious character. I liked him more than Jay. Chemistry between Eliza and Sam was hot. But Sam was keeping some secrets which could destroy everything. Eliza got her hea with the right guy and I'm happy about it.

    What a great, intense and gripping storyline right up until the very end. Great characters - Eliza, the strong fierce woman! Sam, the loveable rouge and Jay, the sweetheart! Loved them all in their own way. It was so intense but what a great ending. Thoroughly enjoyed this third book by January James. Definitely the best of the three, whilst all three are great.
