    I’m pretty sure Chaz and Lottie’s story is my new favorite from Charissa Gracyk! We’ve watched grumpy Chaz watching sunny Lottie for so long, knowing he wanted her. Knowing he didn’t feel deserving of her, especially since she has a little girl who is her everything and Chaz was firmly in the “No Commitment” camp after being burned by his ex.

    Little did Chaz know, our sunny Lottie has been watching him, too. But she deserves a man who will give her forever, and Chaz has been very outspoken about his feelings on that. It seems impossible.

    When Lottie is in danger, Chaz steps in to keep her safe, and the Motley Crew come together in another epic adventure, as only Ms. Gracyk can write. Filled with danger and suspense, romance, and a beautiful, steamy love story, Chaz kept me turning pages long after my bedtime. It was worth every sleepy morning! This group of silver foxes still has what it takes to defeat evil, win hearts and protect their own.

    All the stars for this one! I can’t recommend this book and series enough. Absolutely fantastic!

    I have to confess that Chaz and Lottie’s story is my favorite of the series so far. This one has a certain innocence to it that the others don’t. A pining from afar for the girl Chaz thinks is too good for him, not knowing that she’s pining for him too. Watching a big grizzly bear of a man, who has been burned by his ex, turn into a teddy bear around the woman he’s truly meant to be with was just... ahhh.

    Like a Hallmark movie tucked into an action flick, this story will wrap around you like a warm, cozy blanket… but that doesn’t mean it has a “G” rating. Nope. This book would make Hallmark blush, so be ready to kick off that blanket when Chaz and Lottie’s chemistry burns up the pages. Oh, and hang on tight because the action gets intense.

    If you’re ready to fall in love, then turn around and hop onto a rollercoaster, this book is for you!

    Chaz has always kept his distance from Lottie. She is a ray of sunshine. Perpetually positive and a kick a$$ single mom. Chaz always watches her at the bar, but doesn’t believe in love and happily ever after since he has been majorly burned in the past. The problem is he cannot keep his eyes off of her.

    When trouble comes calling for Lottie, Chaz won’t let anyone but himself protect Lottie and her adorable little girl. Lottie has her work cut out for her to break into his concrete grumpy shell.

    No spoilers. But this an exciting, twisty, turny, crazy ride to a HEA! I loved this one and thought that being able to feel the sunshine and happiness coming off the pages from Lottie and her kiddo was such a blessing.

    15/10 recommend!!!

    Who doesn’t adore a big teddy bear in love? Oh, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. It was delicious to watch a grumpy, silver fox fall head over heels for a ray of sunshine.

    Chaz and Lottie are two different people from different worlds, but they are good for each other. They work because they’re honest and open with their thoughts and feelings. Charissa did a great job of exploring the background for each character to give us an understanding of who they are and what drew them together.

    Chaz is a sweet, protective grump. He’s jaded from his divorce, but he is totally smitten with the young waitress at the Old Glory bar. He’s not interested in a long-term relationship, but it doesn’t stop him from fantasizing about her though.

    Lottie is all sweet and sunshine and attracted to the older man, but commitment is a must for her. When she gets caught up in trouble, Chaz jumps in to protect her and her adorable little one. It doesn’t take long before Chaz discovers she’s got a steamy side that he appreciates. Everything was sweet until it was not, and then it was as hot as it could get. My favorite part is how she slowly evolved from a quiet, behind-the-scenes character into a confident, willing-to-fight, desirable woman.

    Charissa continues to create love matches that you can’t help but cheer for. Lottie’s adorable daughter, Reya, adds a cute factor that makes the story even better. The entire Motley Crew was involved, and the found family feeling is even stronger than ever.

    We are back to the small town of Cielo Springs, Montana, where a group of elite Special Forces warriors in their late forties, one already 50, have moved after their service. They are all still adjusting to civilian life. Some being more successful than others and have form the Motley Crew, as a way to continue their work as civilians.
    One of them is “grumpy pants” Charles/Chaz Madden. He was burned badly by his ex and swore he would never marry again , and definitely would stay away from kids.
    Meanwhile, Charlotte/Lottie Russell, is a sweet, petite single mom that works at his friend’s bar as a waitress. She is a ray of sunshine and as much as Chaz tries to ignore his attraction to Lottie, it is definitely there. He’s too old, jaded, and not good material for her.
    Lottie is attracted to him as well, but she has a child, and knows Chaz’s feelings.
    But when Chaz notices that something is wrong with Lottie, all obstacles are torn down.
    Danger seems to be upon Charlotte and Chaz will to everything in his power to protect her and the child who has gotten him around her little finger.
    In the midst of the danger, the bad guys, bullets, and hunky good guys ready to save the day, feelings intensify.
    Will they all survive the danger and finally realized that finding their person is what is meant to be?
    Another winner in the series worth 5+ stars. Can’t wait for the next story.
