    In book 1 we dealt with Human trafficking , book 2 was about the Entertainment industry, and this book deals with the Justice system when things go horribly wrong with the rush to convict without the benefit of solid evidence. If you like a side of a great plot along with the steamy love story, do not miss this series. You won't be disappointed .

    I really enjoyed the story and the sex was hot. I've read three of the club prive stories and loved all of them. This and the second were my favorites. I am on to the fourth. I did notice a number of grammar issues. One misspelled word that, given the topic and title of the book, was surprising. There were a few places where the character names were reversed. Despite these faux pas, I would read these again. The author has a wonderful way of developing the story and it is obvious the love she has for these characters. Well done!

    This is the story of Arik & Dena. Arik is new to NYC, with a new job being a junior partner for a Defense Attorney firm. Dena just got a job as an assistant District Attorney. They met each other at Club Prive and clicked immediately. When they find out each other is a lawyer on opposite sides, things get complicated. They are working on the same case. A lot goes on in this story, with them and with the case. The case is a mystery, and each separately is trying to put the pieces to the puzzle together. It's a trying time for them both. There is a happy ending, though. This is for sure a page turner. Again, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. What a great writer M.S. Parker is.

    I’ve read Carrie’s and Krissy’s stories and will read Leslie’s. Dena reminds me of a chihuahua that since it’s small tries to overcompensate by being overly aggressive (hitting men, but if reversed, would be frowned upon) and by excessively using harsh curses (SOB, bastard) unnecessarily. Then, she aches for a relationship like Carrie’s, but constantly flakes on Arik...(with eye roll) She’s my least favorite of the 4 friends so far.

    I like her being a switch (different from Carrie and Kristy) and would have liked reading about her being a Dom to Arik (they appear in The Master, so you get a glimpse there) and how she stands up for herself against Bethany and Pierce.

    I really enjoy M.S. Parker’s books!

    This is another interesting read in the club prive series this set is Dena's story she is the third of four girlfriends who finds her perfect match. Arik is a defence lawyer recently moved to New York from Chicago and making good inroads in the law firm he is working for. Dena has been working as a divorce lawyer but is now about to start her dream job in the DAs office. The job isn't exactly working out as she expected but she is determined to make it work, in the meantime she and Arik have met and their chemistry is explosive but this leads to complications as they are on opposing sides and find themselves on the same case. This is an interesting read with lots of twists and turns and lots of hot sexy action.
