    On so many levels, this is much more than just a book of poetry. The Author's raw courage to begin emotional recovery from stark tragedy by putting words to paper is inspirational in and of itself but oh the moving poetic brilliance of her words is mesmerizing. I will be rereading each as a masterpiece from a wordsmith again and again. Truly a gift from one person's heart to be cherished, loved and shared with the hearts of many others. I do highly recommend this book.

    I loved every single one of these poems! I bought these on an old account and noticed there was a new beautiful cover so I thought I'd buy a couple more as gifts.. I can't wait for more books to come out! The author is an obvious lover of the English language..

    This book holds many beautiful pieces of poetry, it is easy to get lost in them and see where the author is coming from. That first one, brings tears to the eyes, and then the rest fill the heart.

    It says Volume 1, I look forward to Volume 2.

    The media could not be loaded.
    I wrote my first review for this book when it first came out, and it was really very good. But the second edition is out now, and the layout of the book is so much more improved. It makes it easier to read, and you can feel the feelings of the author coming through the pages as if she is talking to you directly as if she is reading these to you.

    An amazing book to start, made even better with a second edition.

    I don't usually read poetry, but this compendium was recommended by a good friend.

    I must say, the poet is a genius with words! I have never felt so moved by poetry! It felt as though she was writing some of them specifically for me.
