Nicola Jane, a native of Nottinghamshire, England, has always harboured a deep passion for literature.

From her formative years, she found solace and excitement within the pages of books, often allowing her imagination to roam freely. As a teenager, she would weave her own narratives through short stories, a practice that ignited her creative spirit.

After a hiatus, Nicola returned to writing as a means to liberate the stories swirling within her mind. It wasn't until approximately five years ago that she summoned the courage to share her work with the world.

Since then, Nicola has dedicated herself tirelessly to crafting poignant, drama-infused romance tales. Her stories are imbued with a sense of realism, tackling challenging themes with a deft touch.

Outside of her literary pursuits, Nicola finds joy in the company of her husband and two teenage children. They share moments of laughter and bonding that enrich her life beyond the realm of words.

    Mc romances are one of my favorites and this book had my emotions all over the place! I read this book in one sitting and I was so invested that before I realized it the book was over! Cooper and Mila definitely go through so much in their short relationship. Mostly because cooper is a jerk. lol this is my first book by Nicola Jane and I am already looking forward to the next book!

    There were moments I had actually gotten pretty mad and couldn't put it down if I wanted to.

    Author didnt show how love came about. Seemed more a lust thing but she calms him. She gets nothing out of it maybe the O's.Mila is a gross little doormat. To kiss a man right after he kissed someone else? To sleep with him after knowing he was just in someone else and bare at that when pregnant? His dead wife shows up after faking her death and being gone for years and he goes right to her and sleeps with her and Mila still hangs around. Wife leaves again and Mila comforts him? She sees him with other women later. Still wants him. He never tries to earn her whatsoever just goes poking others. Totaly immature and hard to believe he is a prez when he leaves all his responsibilities to others including his little orphan nephew. I'm just grossed out with both of them and nothing is explained or worked out to make anything even remotely believable.

    Omg this book was my first book from this author and I loved it so much. Cooper is a piece of work... I swear I love to dislike him alot. But the things that brick and Anna put him through was enough to cause anyone to break. I love Mila and he'd strong spirit even everything she went through with the scam Aaron to dealing with Cooper. I cried, got mad and even yelled in the book. It is definitely a book I recommend you check out.

    One of my fav genre is MC romance, throw in a cheating and OW drama, I'm all for it. But it's even better with a redeemable H who gives a really good grovel, not just for a few days, then he expects the h to forgive his a$$, NO, at least a year or two of grovelling lol. Also with an h who has a backbone & doesn't take his crap lying down, who doesn't 'wet her lingerie' with one look or touch from him, but to
    come across a book with all of this, is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

    Well this book, was not the needle. It took me at least a few months of umming & ahhh-ing to decide if I wanted to purchase this book, which I finally did & it's now a DNF & I want a refund 😭😒. The H is a cheating-no-grovel goober & the h is weak goober who has lost her backbone somewhere. And then I read in a review that someone wrote in Kain's books that after Cooper & Mila's "HEA" (which prob should've been "HFN"), he was still cheating 😏.

    This book really is such a very good read. Its really a page turner, i enjoyed the whole story, however for some readers there is a warning of cheating. But when i read this i know this is a bit of a spoiler but its not the main characters who are doing the cheating so given that i find its all good. Mila and Cooper hit it off instantly but when they are in the same room sparks wil fly. Cooper has had bad history and dosnt want to repeat himself again that is why he is weary. I loved Mila character cause she was sassy and bold. She was a nanny to Coopers nephew and with Mila he came out of his shell... beautiful.

    A good book to be enjoyed, looking forward to more.

    This book sounds amazing in the blurb. The writing and plot is superb. And the warnings at the beginning of the book warn this is on the darker side. It’s all good except the constant cheating, the way females are treated is beyond what I can accept.

    I cried reading this but this that is not a good thing. My heart hurt for the way the main female character and supporting female characters were treated. You can be part of a biker club and even be on the wrong side of the law, however, you can still respect, love, care for and romance your life partner.

    There was no chemistry between the two main characters and that showed in the totally flat steam.

    I am not sure how I feel. I really enjoyed this book but Cooper was an absolute pig but Mila's heart only beat for him. The men in this book were cheaters & disloyal & messed up. Was mila strong or weak, she was in love. maybe he will have redeemed himself now that he has chosen her & his gorgeous nephew & new baby. Hopefully he treats her better in the future than he has in past & realises how lucky he is.
