She was passed over for a promotion because a redhead was getting busy with the bossman. So, Fiona quit. She worked hard for the promotion, and she's a take no prisoner kind of girl. She was about to take a new job when she got word her father died, and he left her his failing wine company. She had to figure out how to save it after her father made a series of bad business deals.
Enter Nathan. He's willing to help Fiona save her failing company. Kind of like a business superman. Nathan doesn't do relationships. He's a wham bam thank you ma'am kind of guy. Uh, can we say mommy issues? It seems like Nathan has ulterior motives when he has sex with Fiona. As a reader, I didn't trust him. Fiona didn't either. Good girl. Trust your feminist gut. Did he sleep with her because he wanted her company?
Fiona doesn't take it lightly when people screw her over. Her tough as nails, crazy persona is a turn on for Nathan. What!? He likes crazy chicks? He's asking for trouble in a big way.
Fiona was HILARIOUS. I laughed and laughed at her antics. I kinda wish I had that ability. I'd love to give some payback. She did slip into crazy territory with her ex, but her other plans were flawless.
Her one weakness was Nathan. He slid into her life like a snake and took over all her thoughts. Oh yeah. The inevitable push and pull began. It was
HOT! Fan yourself ladies. I love it when the main characters have HOT chemistry.
Fiona has serious hate for redheads. So, at one point in the book Nathan gets a picture of a redhead for the office. Fiona puts her heels to good use stomping all over it. Yes, Fiona is fierce! She's not one of those whiny chicks. I love that about this book.
Sometimes the characters whine and complain and bitch. It. Gets. Old. (Hint for authors.)
Sandi Lynn's stories are interesting, funny, and different than other books I've read. I always enjoy her characters. I hate it when authors write the same story with different characters. It's annoying. I usually avoid those books. Anyways, back to Sandi Lynn. I've read a number of her books, and they always keep me entertained. I get so lost I read the books in a matter of hours.
Do I recommend this book? Hell yes! ALL of Sandi Lynn's books are worth your time.

He threw some money on the bar, picked me up from the stool, and carried me to his limo. I was too tired to fight him, and at this point, I didn’t care. I just wanted to pass out. He slid in next to me, and instantly, my head fell onto his shoulder.

“You’re a corporate jerk,” I slurred.
