Fiona

Men. Liars and cheaters, every single one of them. I had a great boyfriend, a promising career, and a bright future ahead of me. Then, in an instant, everything fell apart. My boyfriend cheated on me, I was forced to quit my job, and my father suffered a massive heart attack. Before he passed away, he left me Winslow Wines, the company he built from scratch. Suddenly, I became the newly appointed CEO of our struggling family business.

While navigating the financial mess, I met a man under awkward circumstances. He was sexy, confident, wealthy, and a notorious womanizer—a typical corporate jerk and he wanted my company. He wouldn’t take no for an answer, which was all I was prepared to give until something unexpected happened: I fell for him. He was the master of corporate games, and I was ready to play.

Nathan

Women were too complicated, and relationships came with too many expectations. No, thank you. I didn’t have time for any complications in my life. My work and company were my priorities, and women were just hobbies. Have sex, say goodbye, and never look back—life couldn't be simpler. Then I met Fiona Winslow. She was beautiful, strong, independent, sassy, always telling me no. I was after her company, and I thrived on being in control. The problem was that she was uncontrollable. I had just met my match.

Let the corporate games begin.

Billionaire Romance

He threw some money on the bar, picked me up from the stool, and carried me to his limo. I was too tired to fight him, and at this point, I didn’t care. I just wanted to pass out. He slid in next to me, and instantly, my head fell onto his shoulder.

“I need to lie down,” I whispered as I lay my head across his lap.

His fingers brushed my hair from my face.

“You’re a corporate jerk,” I slurred.

“I know I am.” He looked down at me. “Now, be quiet and close your eyes.”

“Do you know that I hate redheads?”

“Why’s that?” he asked.

“My father’s mistress was a redhead before she changed her hair color to brown. The woman whom John was cheating on me with is a redhead, and a redhead got my promotion. Redheads have ruined my life.”

He lightly chuckled. “We’ll talk about the redheads another time.”

Fiona is smart and witty. She doesn't trust men for two reasons: Her dad and her long-time boyfriend. Both of them cheated with redheads. She thinks all "corporate men" are pigs. Maybe she should've turned into a lesbian? She was passed over for a promotion because a redhead was getting busy with the bossman. So, Fiona quit. She worked hard for the promotion, and she's a take no prisoner kind of girl. She was about to take a new job when she got word her father died, and he left her his failing wine company. She had to figure out how to save it after her father made a series of bad business deals. Enter Nathan. He's willing to help Fiona save her failing company. Kind of like a business superman. Nathan doesn't do relationships. He's a wham bam thank you ma'am kind of guy. Uh, can we say mommy issues? It seems like Nathan has ulterior motives when he has sex with Fiona. As a reader, I didn't trust him. Fiona didn't either. Good girl. Trust your feminist gut. Did he sleep with her because he wanted her company? Fiona doesn't take it lightly when people screw her over. Her tough as nails, crazy persona is a turn on for Nathan. What!? He likes crazy chicks? He's asking for trouble in a big way. Fiona was HILARIOUS. I laughed and laughed at her antics. I kinda wish I had that ability. I'd love to give some payback. She did slip into crazy territory with her ex, but her other plans were flawless. Her one weakness was Nathan. He slid into her life like a snake and took over all her thoughts. Oh yeah. The inevitable push and pull began. It was HOT! Fan yourself ladies. I love it when the main characters have HOT chemistry. Fiona has serious hate for redheads. So, at one point in the book Nathan gets a picture of a redhead for the office. Fiona puts her heels to good use stomping all over it. Yes, Fiona is fierce! She's not one of those whiny chicks. I love that about this book. Sometimes the characters whine and complain and bitch. It. Gets. Old. (Hint for authors.) Sandi Lynn's stories are interesting, funny, and different than other books I've read. I always enjoy her characters. I hate it when authors write the same story with different characters. It's annoying. I usually avoid those books. Anyways, back to Sandi Lynn. I've read a number of her books, and they always keep me entertained. I get so lost I read the books in a matter of hours. Do I recommend this book? Hell yes! ALL of Sandi Lynn's books are worth your time. PS-Can Lydia and Will get a book!?

Entertaining, funny and steamy romance. He wants her from the moment he sees her, but she is the first woman that said “No” to him ever, and he is not about to take that as an answer. Plenty of spice, witty banter as well as some emotional moments!

    FINALLY!!!!!

After 40 years and thousands of romance novels, I finally stumble across an intelligent, bada$$ heroine who not only holds her own against a sexy, arrogant, controlling hero but can outmaneuver him. Oh, hundreds of heroines have come close, but most usually fold immediately once the hero lands on scene. Then it's "I'm so glad you're here. Even though I'm confident, successful, and have been taking care of myself for years, I've just been waiting for you to tell me what to eat, what to wear, and when to come. Now I don't need to worry my pretty little head with all those decisions." Sheesh

Needless to say, I f-----g loved Fiona. She's one cunning, strong, bada$$ who grabs life with both hands and shakes it. She's as determined to prove herself as Nathan is to see her fail.

Nathan truly is a corporate a$$ whose main focus is winning and making money. Even though his arrogance and need for control is almost over the top-which would normally have me wishing for a voodoo doll to poke- I couldn't help but like him. He grew on me like your crazy uncle Cyrus- irritating until you crack that crusty exterior, then lovable.

The two together are like gasoline and matches. Their chemistry is explosive. Their banter unparalleled. This was a fun, clever, competitive snarkfest, and I loved every second.

This was my first Sandi Lynn read, but won't be my last. I've already one-clicked a couple more.

What a fun read. I love when both people can be strong and find love. Fiona and Nathan did it with laughter and hate that kept you turning page after page.

A must read. Guaranteed to make you smile

What a fun read. Sweet yet steamy.
Fiona is tired of cheating men.. and red heads. The last straw comes at work and Fiona up and quits. She would soon find herself running the family wine company but her father made some bad deals and the company was millions in debt. The last thing she wants is to sell the company but that might be the only option. Then the hot, infuriating, sexy, hothead, Nathan comes into the picture.

Nathan, runs his own company, and wants to invest in a wine company. He has no idea that Fiona is behind said company. She is a mess. An infuriating, hot, fly off the handle mess. But he can’t seem to not think about her.

Great fun read. Love the banter and the chemistry between these two. Although Fiona is slightly unhinged, you have to love her drive and passion. Now add to that a woman scorned and look out.

Fiona and Nathan what a romance. Their fathers surprise business venture in Maine and Nathan’s fears of love made this such a wonderful love story. Also the secondary characters Lydia and Will kept the story even better, two romances at once. Ending was perfect. This is a must read.

This is a quick read and yet another great story by Sandi Lynn. Fiona Winslow is a feisty, fiery, intelligent, and a passionate person but she has trust issues when it comes to men. Fiona's, life starts to fall apart when she finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her, she gets passed over for a promotion that she earned and then she receives a call that her father has passed away. Just as she feels things couldn't get worst...he leaves her the company which is in financial ruins. Nathan, handsome, rich and a financial genius has set his sights on Fiona, but every time he has run into her on the town, she has rejected him....
The way Nathan Carter met her was hilarious. Nathan is a businessman who takes risks and goes after what he wants; his quest for Fiona is no different. This story is full of heat, laugh out loud moments, friendship, and some mystery. Once I started reading this book, I could not stop.
