Crave Your Mercy (Mercy Academy Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 385 ratings

Blake Sullivan’s perfect life is imploding. His father threw his mother out of the house, and now they’re going through a nasty divorce while the whole town watches.

Since I’ve been away at college, I had no idea that my brother Aric was the one responsible for destroying Blake’s family.

Or that Blake would stop at nothing to get back at Aric.

And I never thought that I would be used as a pawn in Blake’s revenge, not until it’s too late.

Now I have to make an impossible decision, one that will change everything.

I’ll never forget what Blake did to me; and no matter how much he begs, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him.

Ohmygawd how does she do it?! Seriously? My mind was blown by how great this story is and how much my heartstrings were tugged. I loved Aric and Maddie’s story so much!!! Couldn’t get enough. I didn’t want to oversell myself on this one just in case I didn’t love Blake and Caroline as much or at all. Buuuuut I was so wrong to doubt Ms. Lane for even an iota. She’s rocking the hell out of this series and honestly it’s just getting better. I fell hard and fast for Blake. He’s an absolute sweetheart with the biggest heart ❤️. His story made me ugly cry 😭. He’s had his whole world flipped upside down and people think he should just shake it off and move on? How dare they?! His father’s an even bigger absentee than before the fallout of his marriage and his mother is completely M.I.A. He’s not speaking to his oldest friend and he’s still holding onto his maiden hood. Give the boy a break!!!
Caroline was not who I was expecting at all. She’s a bit naive and totally spoiled, but she too has a big heart. Just doesn’t do well with surprise changes and takes a bit for her to adapt in new environments. In other words, she’s pretty relatable.
I love that Blake has always had a thing for his best friend’s older sister. I love how attracted they are to each other. I love how he is just a truly sincere and honest guy who just sucks at communication. These two obviously care a lot about one another. Their moments together are everything! But there is a lot of miscommunication and false accusations being thrown around like crazy!!! I loved every moment 😝.
I also loved seeing Aric again!!! He’s so grown!! Love it!!! Maddie’s such a sweetie. Royal is royally f’ed up in the head and I can’t wait to read his story!!! And what in the world is going on between Mr. Sullivan and Sophie, the girl next door? Something is definitely going on there, I be reading in between the lines y’all.
So good!!! You’ll be glad that there’s no cheating and a HEA to make your heart ❤️ melt. Get it!!!

In Beg for Mercy you got Aric's story and what kind of pain his actions caused Blake his family just employed over night. In this story you see how hard of a time Black is having moving on his best friend and his mother how do you deal with especial when your parents divorce gets beyond ugly and very public. I completely hated Blake's mom and his father isn't going to win any awards either so Blake parties and tries to forget but people saying just move on doesn't help. Then the girl he crushed on Caroline comes home from college biggest problem he's hurting and wants revenge next problem she's Aric's older sister. Caroline has been dealing with things at collage doesn't even know how messed up things are at home and doesn't even see what's coming when she goes home for a break and when she goes to a party and sees the guy she used to have a crush on Blake things happen now they have to deal with the consequences with a lot of drama and pain on both sides. There story was beautifully written and I think the author really managed to do justice to there story and I can't wait to see what's in store for Blake's friend Royal.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I liked this one... okay.
Everyone was just afraid of their feelings and being honest. That frustrates me a lot. I do forgive them, as they were so young, and life altering decisions can be so hard. I'm glad this worked out!

This story had me so looking forward to it from the bits we got in the first book and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed this story from first page to the last page it kept you hooked and I was waiting to see how they're ending would come to. I love books that involve characters from the previous books in the series as this one does and the stories also are interconnected so you must read book one. Book two here is focused on Blake in Caroline and their stories twisted and beyond emotional but I love the story in the journey they took to get to their ending. I wasn't sure I was going to like Blake from what I need about him from book one but in this story I really got to know and understand him and see his feelings. Overall I just love this story and book one and can't wait to read book three and see how the series finishes up I'm sure it'll be just as good as the other two.

Wow! Blake and Caroline's story flows on from the Aric and Maddie initial introduction. The darker issues surrounding Aric and Collette are still being carried on behind the drama of Blake and Caroline's developing relationship. It just draws you in more.
Again, darker topics are touched on so if you have an issue with minor drug references, abandonment issues, or the like be prepared.

Crave for Mercy is the second book in the Mercy Academy series. I read Beg for Mercy and fell in love with this series and was super excited to read this one.

This story could be read as a standalone since in the beginning it explains what happened to make Blake so upset in the first book.

This story is about Blake and Caroline and is told from duel point of views. I really like this kind of storytelling because it lets you feel what each person is thinking.

Caroline is Aric's sister, and Blake was his friend. Aric did some things in book one that is tearing Blake's family apart. Caroline has some issues going on in her own life and comes home from college.

I loved seeing everything Caroline and Blake went through and how they came out in the end.

I can't wait for Royals' story!

Have to say I wasn’t the greatest Caroline fan at the beginning of this book... she was mean to Maddie 😢
But I soon changed my mind and I really enjoyed this book. Cannot wait for Royal’s book next!!

Aric's actions have severe consequences and Blake and Caroline are caught up in the aftermath. Confusion, anger, revenge, heat, chemistry, forgiveness and moving on all shape this story into a good read.

My first book from the author and I have to admit I did like it. The book was good and it did surprise me a bit as it wasn’t like other book oks that I have read. I wasn’t sure whether she would change her decision or not so I was surprised when I found out. I’ll definitely read the next book..

Wow! I wasnt expecting so many emotions! This story is so heartbreaking, I had a permanent lump in my throat for the duration of the book! I expected revenge, hate, misunderstanding but what u got was so much more. Blake is such a sweetheart, I felt so much for him. I didnt gel so much with Caroline, but towards the end she had grown on me. I'm looking forward to Royals book.

I couldn’t take to the heroine in this story. She is selfish and self absorbed. Hero is weak and insipid. None of it gelled for me, all felt false and forced. Story was well written but I could not connect with either character
