Crescent Moon's Curve Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 543 ratings

Killian - I’d only ever had two dreams in life; to be a beta for the Slate Mountain Wolf Pack and to find the mate fate had for me. I’d accomplished the first, side by side with my best friend, Xavier. Unfortunately, the more time goes by, the more I dread the other. The thought that Xavier wouldn't be the most important person in my life once my mate showed up was an ache deep in my soul. With no time to dwell on that, I focused on the job at hand. The town of Slate Mountain was counting on our Wolf Pack to keep them safe, whether they knew it or not. When a new, unknown enemy began aiding the town mayor’s witchcraft, I had to get my eyes off of Xavier to make sure no one else ended up in harm’s way—or worse.

Xavier - As one of the betas of Slate Mountain Wolf Pack, protecting our town was the most important thing to me outside of my club and my best friend Killian. He’d been by my side since we were pups, and my greatest fear was him finding his mate and leaving me behind. At least, it was until the heat on our town fires up, putting his life in jeopardy. There’s no way Ethan, our club president and alpha, will let anyone compromise the citizens of our town. But these people… shifters… whoever they are, have upped the ante if they think they can harm Killian without retribution.

Welcome to Slate Mountain where magic and motorcycles roam the streets, love flows as pure as mountain spring water, and the wolves are always guarding the door.

Crescent Moon’s Curve is a novella featuring an M/M romance and a HEA. It is the third book in a four-part series set in the same world, and while each book focuses on a different couple, the overall story arc continues on in the next installment. It is recommended the books be read in order.

Killian and Xaviar have been best friends their whole lives but something has changed. It's not just that they've become best friends with benefits, it's something deeper. Something everyone else seems to know but them.

I really love this series. Each book has a focus on a particular couple but their story is interspersed within the overreaching story arc and so past and future characters take a prominent place as well. X and Kill are such a sweet couple and I'm so glad they got to be together. I'm really looking forward to the next book and I would definitely recommend these. They are sweet, low angst, and full of feels.

Xavier and Killian were adorable. Their friendship blinded them to their true meaning to one another even though everyone else saw it before they did. I love when a friendship takes a natural turn and progression into more especially when they are fated and are needed in tough times. Loving this series.

    3 stars!

This is book 3 in this continuing story featuring a MC club of wolf shifters that are fighting to protect their town. Due to an over arching storyline I recommend reading in order.

This one features a friends to lovers storyline and progesses the main story forward. The epilogue ends on a cliff hanger which really makes you NEED book 4!

Overall, a solid addition to this series but not my favorite.

I'm so glad the next book is out. I need to find out what happens. I've been waiting for Ev to get his head out of his behind and claim Jeremy. And for this Joyce scumbag to get what's coming to him. Maybe somebody will rip his throat out.

I liked this book a lot. Killian and Xavier were always in the background supporting the others so I didn't expect them to have their own book. I'm glad they did though. I'm a sucker for lifelong friends to lovers. They were sweet and I really liked seeing them discover that they're mates.

They'd been besties since they were toddlers so they didn't realize that they were fated. More meeting mates but the bad guys are still causing trouble.

This book was as heartwarming as it was gripping. It definitely held my attention and had me drawn into the story. Xavier and Killian were awesome together and their relationship was so precious that it almost brought tears to my eyes. The plot was riveting and it involved a bit of action. This book also ended in a way that has me excited to read the next book in the series. Great characters and very well executed. Outstanding. =)

A shifter, fated mates, friends to lovers novella.
We get wonderful smelling men, bad bears and the magic of love as well as from witchcraft.

It brings us back to the Slate Mountain Wolf Pack and the two betas and best friends Killian and Xavier but also moves the main story forward.

I love shifters and I love friends to lovers so this was a perfect mix.
And I really, really want to know what happens to Ev an Jeremy and hope the next book comes out soon!

5.0 out of 5 stars I due beta che si amavano
Reviewed in Italy on March 12, 2023
✔ Letto!

    Per me è ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ e 💋

J'ai absolument adoré : les deux personnages principaux sont choux et parfaits !
Mais j'avoue avoir hâte de lire le tome 4 : je suis fan de Jérémy mais aussi Ev !
