The Pendant and the Prophecy
Lilith has got to be one of my all time favorite characters when she is written correctly! Lyra Winters does that and more! This book is spectacular and better then I could have imagined. They don't call her the mother of demons for nothing. She's supposed to have caring and fiercely protective side. It had all the fun elements of any great paranormal romance, but with allot of really great original twists. And Lilith's harem wait till you meet the boys there isn't a single one of them not to like. There is something fun and playful about each of them even grumpy Thaddeus. He doesn't show it often and if you blink or skip a word you might miss it. I absolutely can not wait for Book 2❣️ I have voluntarily left this review.

    Wow! I had a feeling just from her name, and it being about supernaturals that she was going to be special, and boy, oh boy, was I right! And once she met the Council and one about called her "Mother," my suspicions were confirmed. But I can't wait to read more of these books and see where everything leads!

    This is the first novel I've read from the author and I'm looking forward to more. Lilith feels like she's meant for more then she hits some weird animal and wakes up in the supernatural world.

    Clan Draven saves Lilith and now has to pay the consequences. I loved the character of lilith and the way she said what was on her mind. She definitely had alot going on and she kept training to get better. In the process she discovers she is quite more than she thought, while also discovering the hotness and connection with Thaddeus, Kai and Blaise. I was wondering about her cat jax from the beginning and it was good to see them reunited. I'm excited to see what will happen on book two now that some things have been revealed

She awakes to the three men Thaddeus, Kai, and Blaise who explain to her she’s a vampire. All she wants to do is go home and see her family so see makes a deal to train with them and learn how to control her vampire. The attraction is insane between all four of them. Can Lilith get herself trained and can she have all three ? There are so many twist and turns. Amazing Book. This is my first book with this Author definitely not my last. First book in a series.

    I had a little bit of a hard time getting into this book at the beginning. There was just a lot going on and not enough depth it felt like to draw you in. The 3 vampires also felt a little flat at the beginning. However, once the vampires start training Lilith the dynamic in the story changes and the characters start coming to life. It turned into a great read overall. I liked Lilith from the beginning- she's sassy and just refreshingly honest. Blaise grows on you as the sexy flirt and Kai is just sweet. I really liked Thaddeus from the beginning as well but felt like he took the longest to grow into a fleshed out character. Then there's Aziel - oh my! Now him I was drawn to from the get go.

    Definitely give this read a shot. Once you get over the 1st couple of chapters it becomes hard to walk away and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to book 2.

    The first chapter drew me right into this book. I knew I was going to love the female main character, Lilith. She is sassy and hilarious and she did not change throughout this book. I loved her thoughts and interactions with those around her.

    The story is an interesting premise. Girl gets changed by vampires, there’s a big council, a bit of a mystery and something just doesn’t seem quite right. I liked that there was a bit of a mystery throughout the book, you’re trying to figure out what exactly is happening. Some parts I guessed but a few others were a surprise. The mystery and the few hints we were given is enough to keep me interested in continuing the series.

    I really think the dialogue made this book though. It was funny and entertaining and I really liked Lilith. The boys were starting to get I’m more interesting, I think they’ll play a bigger part as the trilogy continues. I just liked Lilith a bit more than men.

    I loved the plot and characters. They all had their unique personalities and I was always wanting to know what happened next.
    My only issue is the 300 year old vampires using modern British slang. Americans might not notice, but being English, it was very jarring. I guess it sounds so unnatural that it fits 300 year old vampires badly attempting to copy British youths, but there's no explanation as to why they'd want to make themselves sound poorly educated.
    Other than that, the writing is great.
