- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2024ALARA lived in a small community where she worked with her sister toiling very hard, tilling the soil to grow crops for the castle, each territory had an acheron who was an overseer of that section of the territory and they had so little to their selves an old house with a small fireplace with very little to eat, but Ilara had a gift of treating her soil in her garden with care and it fluerished Their parents were murdered by order of the king for questioning that the crops were dying they were burnt to death by the bringer of death 💀 the prince. She did have an affinity with the soil and her plants in her garden thrived, she had no idea what that was because she knew she had no magic or wings 🪽 like everyone else she knew that she was odd but her sister loved her so much she tried to keep her self loathing hidden. Norvin was the prince of the winter court, he had many affinities and was called the bringer of death. He was known to kill Faye without a blink of an eye with soul sucking, fire 🔥 , misting, dragon 🐉 fire magic he was definitely the bringer of death. He was known to have murdered Ilara's parents and brother because they had questioned King about the crops along with others who the king ordered his son Prince Norvin execute. Ilara was always picked on because she stood out & was so different than everyone else. She had no wings and black hair. She covered her hair with a scarf as much as she could but one day the prince showed up at their village and was looking around at everyone, he spotted her made her stand up & remove her scarf then He said you're coming with me. Ilara knew when fae went to the castle 🏰 they never returned & this was the end. Callis was devastated as Ilara was only one left of her family & is taken By the Crown Prince and that her sister would be tortured and killed like her parents and brother. But the prince took her away and he flew her with his knights back to the kingdom. He suspected that Ilara had other affinities. Norvin treated her well, but she hated him with all of her being, she let them all know it, but Norvin was continually decent with her fed her and gave her new clothes & treated her well which confused her altogether? The prince 👑 was acting so out of character @ Ilara she was so confused as was he? They all would find out what Ilara was meant for Norvin & he knew in his gut that she was special. Norvin's father the king others in the court knew of the crops all dying and that people would starve. Norvin had seen Ilara's garden by flying @her home and that she could save the crops and their subjects. But so the saga began with Ilara surprising herself with her gifts revealed but it's starts out well but then the crops die again. What or who's behind killing all the kingdoms crops? Do any of the court want the throne? Will the king make all women fight for the princes hand in marriage? Will Ilara be forced to marry against her will? Will Norvin ever tell her some truths? throughout all of the four books, it tells of this saga and it has so much to offer it has battles, Magic, a king 🤴 and queen 🫅 with sexy royal princes, one of whom is carefree and flirty, wings and flying, some humor, and the descriptions were very good. What will happen to a Lara and Norval them that is worth everything even their lives and possibly their futures?
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2024Overall, I really enjoyed this series! Perfect balance of plot twists, magic, and romance. Only deducting a star because some of the verbs are over used (fingered and growled, for example), and because overall there were moments that kind of felt dragged out and unnecessary. I caught myself skimming a lot more in the last 2 books than I did in the first 2 books. However, these are very minor complaints and overall I would definitely recommend this series to a friend!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2024What an absolutely amazing story. I am so sad that it's over but the ending is what we all needed! I cried like a baby. I love the world building, the character development, the romance, everything. I couldn't get enough of this story and I think I will reread it in the future. A new and permanent favorite
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2025Wonderful books and lots of tears, laughs and love. Hopefully you could continue the books of them with Nuwin and Meegan? And maybe the guards? All their kids and family?
- Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2024So, the first book definitely had me interested, the second book had me hooked. It’s almost like she went “well if they’re this far in they’ll just keep going” by book three, which I read all of them so obviously that worked. If you read other people’s reviews that go into how repetitive it is - it gets into phases where it’s basically the same thing being said just in a different way for 5 paragraphs straight. I got it the first time, I’m not an idiot. The strange this is that it mainly only happens in book 4 so I don’t understand how the writing style changed so drastically. There were some CHAPTERS that were just not even necessary. Also, the ending wasn’t… idk. It felt lackluster. I definitely did not go IT’S ENDING, WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY LIFE!? Continued by sobs and tears. I feel like this had way more potential. It just got lazy. I’m hesitant to read any of the authors other books due to this.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2025An original tale built around believable characters that will keep you turning pages into the night. These four books by Krista Street are truly entertaining. Enjoy.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2024Ilara and Nurivum’s story comes to its conclusion in this book, in which they have to finally find a way of proving that the King has been manipulating and harming his own kingdom.
It’s not easy to get the proof they need, and there is the fact that the King is determined to make sure they can’t prove their case. In addition to that, there are several outstanding issues that need to be resolved before they come back to haunt them.
This enjoyable story comes to an end amidst tears and joy, as our fated mates battle warlocks, wicked kings, and those determined to take advantage of them.
This book has a lot of action, even more magic, and a great deal of steam! Fans of the author might recognise a few of her characters from other series making cameos in this book too.
If you’re a fantasy romance lover, then this is an entertaining enemies-to-lovers tale, filled with feel good tropes and a story of good triumphing over evil.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2025The Crowns of Ice was an awesome ending to an amazing series. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️stars, a great book to seal the Fae of Snow and Ice series. I highly recommend this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars incredible series!
I am so happy with how the story ended, it honored so well the characters and all the plot. At the same time, I am sad it ended, I could read another whole book at least with their new life - spoiler ahead- and maybe their kid’s antics! I loved the extra chapter, and hope for more! I will definitely check more from Krista Street, it was an incredible read! Couldn’t put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tutti e 4 fantastici
Una serie coinvolgente, non sono riuscita a staccare da questi libri fino all'ultima riga letta. La serie non ti lascia andare, la lettura in inglese è scorrevolissima. Da non perdere
