Don't Fly Home (Crowhill Cove Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.1 out of 5 stars 45 ratings

Nobody wants him here...
So why is his hot roommate asking him to stay?

BRODY
Everyone hates me, and they’re right. I was an asshole.

But I’m a better person now. I just don’t know how to get anyone to ever believe me.

My one saving grace is the group of friends I met at college, who still – begrudgingly – include me sometimes. So, when I get invited out for a long weekend bachelor party trip, the part of me that craves friendship, forgiveness, and love can’t wait to get there.

Only, the moment I arrive, I know it was a mistake.

I can’t stand another weekend of feeling like no one wants me around. That’s why I’m packing up my suitcase and getting ready to fly home only moments after we arrive.

But when ice-cold and aloof Ace, who lost the lottery to be my roommate for the weekend, tells me to stay and then gets changed right in front of me…

Something about that body is begging me to stick by his side.

Maybe I can convince just one person that I’m not that bad, after all.

ACE
I don’t want to share a room with Brody. That asshole messed up a friend’s heart, and none of us have ever really forgiven him.

Except the thing is, a lot of time has passed – and he really seems to have changed. The closer I get to him, the more I realize that he’s matured faster than all of us.

And when it hits me that even his ex doesn’t hate him anymore, I realize Brody might be worth a second look.

There’s just one catch: I can’t let anyone know I’m giving him a try.

Not Xavi, who keeps trying to entice me into his own bed. Not the rest of our friends, who would warn me off him and maybe even laugh in my face for stooping so low.

If we’re going to do this, it has to be secret.

Which is why it’s such a bad idea for us to keep tearing each others’ clothes off in places where anyone could walk in…

Don’t Fly Home is a secret semi-strangers to lovers gay romance with plenty of heat! This third book in the Crowhill Cove series can also be read as a standalone. Happy ending guaranteed… in more ways than one!

My name is Rhiannon D'Averc, and I'm an author and ghostwriter based in the UK. To date, I've had over 100 books published. I live in Kent with my husband and son and also keep myself busy as the Editor in Chief of London Runway, an indie fashion magazine.

Serial Investigations follows a pair of private detectives, best friends and sharp minds harbouring a dark secret that is slowly destroying each of them from the inside. It's an extreme slow-burn romance with serial killings, references to real crimes, and the city of London as a central location.

Crowhill Cove is a gay romance series following a group of friends as they find love in unexpected places. Series 2 is coming in the late 2024! Find Crowhill Cove on Substack for extra content including short stories and a seralised novel.

Brody has tried to make amends for how he treated Cade in book 1…but no one in this friends group is willing to look at how amazing Brody is today vs 4 years ago…until Ace. It was a lot of hate towards Brody from the guys and Brody himself plus Ace was so afraid of his friends’ judgement that he couldn’t be what Brody deserved…

I was excited to read the next story in this series. I was surprised by the 2 year time jump but enjoyed seeing all the characters again. That being said, some of the events are out of order and the wrong names used. It really really took away from my enjoyment sadly.
