    This series just gets better and better....love the characters and the story line, its intriguing, political, still trying to figure out who are the good guys and who might be be good guys in disguise. Love Jessica and Maddie...Sex scenes are steamy but they aren't the only thing to these books which I like there is a really good story line that keeps you guessing what is going to happen. The author throws in twists in the plot you never see coming so its not predictable. On to book 3. So excited.

    Dante and Jess must navigate a path carved out of betrayals and lies to find their HEA. This book paled a little by comparison to book 1 and I think part of it was the Insta sexy times for our main characters. Valen's wooing of Laura was a little more believable than these two jumping each other so quickly. However, Dante was still a good hero and he helped turn the page for the introduction of next demon hunks.

    The best part of this book was it really developed the bad guys, their motivations and the abhorrent ends they would go to to achieve those desires. Speaking of abhorrent, as you guess shortly after meeting Jess, her brother redefines creep. The lengths he goes to in aid of the enemy and in his own crazy quest leave you gasping. I hate men who hurt the innocent and he takes it to a new level. It is amazing an author can create someone so universally hated.

    After reading this book, you know the table has been set for Jordan and his beloved. I intend to keep reading and would recommend others give this book a try as well.
