Dark Secrets (Briley Witch Chronicles Book 3) Kindle Edition
The Briley Witch Chronicles, a light-hearted coming of age paranormal fantasy series with a dose of danger and a sprinkle of love...
Underneath a tranquil surface, secrets lie everywhere in the village of Maepole. What is the anniversary that no one dares to speak of? Why do the Whiteheads hate all witches so passionately? And what are the terrifying spell fragments hidden deep within the pages of Briley's grimoire?
In search of answers, Briley and Smokey are drawn to the nearby market town of Chaeton. But danger lurks within its narrowed streets: a flash of steel, a swathe of grey, a hidden dark witch armed with an ancient grimoire. And a waiting trap ready to spring.
Will Briley and Smokey prevail?
All will be revealed when Dark Secrets are unveiled...

- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2014I follow this author and have all of her books. This third installment to the Briley Witch Chronicles was exciting and rewarding. I love the addition of the new fire element and all of its surprises. I hope Ember is a permanent character, as she is wonderful.
I especially find the bad vs good witch moral dilemma intriguing and look forward to learning whether a bad witch can be reformed completely or not in this magical system.
I recommend this series, as it has brought me hours of joyful reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2014The three book of The Briley Witch Chronicles (Dark Secrets) was outstanding. I loves ever minute of it. I loved the new characters and I can't wait to read part four.
I would highly recommend this series to someone who like to read witches stories or any fantasy.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2015Which I have to say, is an improvement. This Book 3 was my monthly Prime Kindle Lending Library selection for this month. I selected it because I have read and enjoyed the first two books.
I was glad to see a new plot turn in this installment. The first two books were mainly devoted to world building, and Briley primarily just tried to withstand the evil Villagers and the Veritas (the Witch Police). This book not only introduced some new characters, but it also gave Briley and her friends a quest of sorts to look forward to.
Not high literature, by any means--but it's an easy, entertaining read for those who enjoy witch stories and cats.
