Catherine is the creator of several series, most of them paranormal, including the Whitedell Pride Series and the Gillham Pack Series. While she graduated in translation, she decided to go the writer’s way because it was more fun to create her own stories and characters.

    Overall I loved the book. It's a great continuation of the humans and demons universe. Very well researched and written, very strong narrative and plenty of action. Enough hot and steamy to keep you interested but not overwhelming the story. A good read.

    Interesting world, but this book was less engaging than the first...IDk why, maybe less action? It seemed to have a bit too much inner monologuing about feelings and not enough action. I like the characters though- would love more of the world elements brought out!

    I was debating on continuing this series when a friend lent me a copy of her book. I liked this one slightly better than I did the first one. I had two problems with it. One…It was full of two many coincidences. Two...Aiden’s avoidance of Lewis and his inability to suck it up and confront Lewis with his feelings got old. It took over half the book before that happened and as I said, it got old fast.

    I did buy into Chase and Thailor as a couple more in this book than I did the first one, so that is a plus. All in all, I found this book mildly entertaining. Nothing spectacular. I’m now debating on whether or not I’m going to continue this series. I am curious about Cumar and Yo’ash so maybe.
