Den of Dark Angels: A Paranormal Anthology Kindle Edition
Passion for Poe spins from Calgary to Denmark in a crescendo of dysfunction. Demons slop from the trunk of a car bought by Astria Brin, and lions gaze from a bridge in the center of Calgary and follow them home, as mysterious dreams, murder and horror intertwine.
Dark Angel introduces Drake Bent, a half-demon man who roars about the universe on a chromed Harley-Davidson motorcycle with his terrier dog Killer in the sidecar. Drake's girlfriend connects to him in life and death, with the Devil's curse on them both. After Drake's parents die in a tragic car accident, he embarks on a furious mission of redemption.
In Father of Lies, we travel between 3000 years into the future, the 20th century and 3000 years B.C. in ancient Greece. As beings from Alpha Centauri await Earth's demise and Sol's nova to replenish their spirits, they watch Earth and one family in particular.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2020I enjoyed reading most of this collection. Unique and mind twisting. Vivid imagery. Good read for anyone who enjoys shows like "Supernatural" or "Doctor who". Want to read more stories like this that get one thinking of how close we can be too odd and paranormal.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2016The author is an excellent author, but I felt she mixed too many supernatural elements in the stories. For me it ruined the continuity of the tales. If you prefer a mix of the supernatural without any true happiness this would be the book to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2016This is a fun read right off the bat!! I finished the first novella hysterically laughing at everyone's ill fate. George and Bernice will be missed!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2016Great story - I anticipated reading each chapter. I always enjoy reading books/stories from this author!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2016If you’re looking for a pleasant romp through a story, watch out! In “Den of Dark Angels”, from the moment you step into the author’s fertile imagination, all bets are off. This book offers three novellas of weird, fascinating and paranormal tales that will take you for a ride from present to future, love to murder, and planet to planet.
Astria Brin, the daughter of very rich parents, has strange, stone lions that follow her and her boyfriend across the ocean to Denmark, where even stranger things occur.
Lori and Drake are great friends, even after horrible things happen … until even more horrible things happen.
And Big Daddy has an unfathonable job in the future … until the future is annihilated by (wait for it) his grandson’s curiosity. But this is only after Connor and his grandmother travel to ancient Greece and Biblical times.
None of these things are in a straight line of incidents. You will be taken to many places, feel many emotions, love and despise people, and enjoy yourself thoroughly. I received this book free, and have loved it enough to buy it for others. Good reading!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2017This is a unique trilogy, each story unconnected to the next but all delightfully dark in nature. The characters are sinister & unconventional, all beautifully described in well carved tales of the unexpected. All three stories touch upon the subject of people confronting their demons, whether it be imaginary lions peering from the closet or undead souls who cannot rest. This is not a genre that I usually read but the author has done a first-rate job of converting me & I shall be looking out for more of her work.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2017I am going with a four star on this collection of three short stories, which are actually closer to novellas. I found the supernatural stories intriguing and well written, although I have to warn readers there is a lot to take in as the stories combine several genres, This is done in a fascinating way and the author has taken readers into some darkness in the telling, but also some really interesting works. When you read a collection it is a bit harder to do a review without taking forever to go into each story, so I will just say if you like a variety of supernatural themes, grab this well written, intriguing collection.
