I read this when it first came out as part of the Twised Legends collection under J Rose. I loved it then and after the re-read I still love it!
This is a why choose dark pnr. It's fast paced and it just draws you in.
Emery is our fmc. She's what they consider a "dark w!tch" and she's kind of a b@d@ss! She's on the run and has been for quite a while. She had abandoned her 3 best friends, to keep her and everyone safe, but needless to say, after searching and searching they find her and need her help. Because she does ultimately love her guys, she will go back to their town, Reapers Hollow, to help them, even if it means her possible d3ath, either by the coven of w!thes after her, or the d3vil trying to take over the world.
There's a lot of tension in their little group. I love a good damaged/broken mc and let's just say they've all had their fair share of trauma. Luther, Kody, and Atticus all brought different personalities to the dynamic but were ultimately cohesive together. The spice was perfect. There's lots of action. There's good. There's ev!l. This book will definitely keep you on your toes. Overall a fantastic pnr read!
